Have a small sebanza 31 with bog inlays and boomerang Damascus arriving in next few days as well as a Hinderer XM 18.3.5 Triway Recurve on the way. So hard to find either of those but got lucky last week.

Fresh out of the box delivered today. It’s so weird but I kinda dig it. Pockets better than I expected but tends to want to open up as you pull it out kind of like an Emerson wave thing. In hand the ergonomics are pretty bad to be honest. The finger grooves are just off for me no matter if I choke up on the blade or not.

Excuse the dog hair lol.

Well done. Cataloging is always a worthwhile thing to do.

I have my collection catalogued on a great app....... https://catalogit.app
I have it on my laptop and iPhone
Here is a screenshot of what it looks like.........

I’m going to look that App over thanks. I already have mine cataloged, but always looking for something better!

I didn't go quite that far, but I did recently inventory my current assortment of knives, around 50 total. That's not counting an equivalent number that I either lost or gave away over the years, or the kitchen knives.

After the Civil War, plenty of dudes were without limbs and such. The spine shape on this knife is a throwback to those days, it is kind of like an early Emerson wave for those amputee veterans. Mane, I hope you enjoy it, but it doesn't sound like ya are! Best of luck! I rec the Yojimbo series if you like this blade shape.

I do appreciate it and it belongs in m collection. There are just some things that should have been tweaked a little better. I do not regret getting it at all.

Sadly none of my knives are legal in the city I work in. LOL. 2.5 inch blade give me a break.
Dang. I think nothing of slipping an Espada into my pants for a nighttime walk, and that's in city-CA! That'd leave me my small Higonokamis, Leatherman, Case and Winchester slipjoints, Opinel no. 2 and Spyderco Bug! Horrible!

I apologize as I see some of the images I uploaded have disappeared. If anyone can recommend a better image hosting website from which to upload images here, please let me know. And I’ll redo the pictures.

I don’t anticipate adding anything for a while, so this is it for the time being.

The Hinderer doesn’t seem very sharp out of the box, can barely push through a sheet of paper. Perhaps its the recurve maybe? The blade edge catches my fingernail all along the blade so it appears its sharp but when trying to push or pull through a sheet of paper its like there’s no edge at all. Weird.

As sharp outta the box as they are thin behind the edge, as I heard it said. That is one of the many reasons I prefer to go long, rather than wide, like the clunkers from Medford and Strider, er, Burger, in my big knives.

Thought I should have at least one knife that is legal to carry in the city I work in. This is a really great little knife.
