Death Chat!!

Those lights Xeno EO3's look pretty good  I enjoy using my Quark for an AA form factor light

Ban and Huy, you guys should check out the Quark AA. Ban, it's got a pocket clip and clicky for you too  The pocket clip on my 2xAA Quark is pretty sturdy IMO, I wouldn't worry too much about the light getting ripped out of my pocket with normal use.

That Quark AA looks perfect for me. Now I am gonna have to spend more money. I was hoping that they would make a AAA version as well.

Well, you could check out the Quark Preons. They are AAA. Looks pretty good, but I haven't really researched it yet or checked out CPF for reviews.

Check out the flashlight thread i started, you can buy the rear clicky adapater for the preons! I think i'll have to pick that combo up..

YEah, I was just working on a reply in that thread  I didn't even know they made clicky's for em!

Kershaw's new KVT pivot looks sounds interesting:

KVT (Kershaw Velocity Technology) Opening System
Kershaw's KVT opening system for butter-smooth manual opening. Instead of a standard pivot hinge, the Tilt has ball bearings at the pivot point. Pull back on the ambidextrous blade protrusion, the ball bearings rotate, and the blade glides out of the handle quickly and easily.

We'll see if it's as smooth as some of the BM Axis lock.

Sounds good. Russ said he was gonna put together a hike too.

That's awesome :) I like how the cdc page is written tongue in cheek while emphasizing that prep really isn't much different from a "real" emergency.

The new Toyota/Scion is pretty mean looking! It's the return of their RWD sports car.

From Kershaw section:

For everyone asking how well the bearings work, my G&G Hawk R.A.Z.R. has the identical bearings (should have taken pics last time I had it apart).

I put together a quick video on my iPhone to show how smooth it is.

The R.A.Z.R. doesn't have a flipper, but it opens incredibly smoothly.
One of the greatest things about the bearings is that there is is zero blade play in any direction, yet there is no resistance to rotation.

I can't until they release the new bearing system, looks to be as smooth as some benchmades.
