Death Chat!!

I saw the back of Dans head at a city meeting in Concord(?) over a video feed. He was protecting our gun rights. :D

Im good for Tues.

I've been really busy for the last few weeks. An ongoing thing was the tapeout of a chip at work. It finally was finished last week and I'm still doing some archiving and paperwork.

Two weekends ago I volunteered at Techshop San Jose working on the floors and moving stuff around. It was very hard work.

That next Tuesday I had to go to SF to drink with some gun rights friends of mine. Lots of fun but my sleep defecit was bad.

Last weekend I was back at Techshop moving stuff, patching floors, etching floors and making tabletops.

On Monday I went to a Friends of the NRA dinner and I gave them an AK. It was a .22, for the children.

I'm still recovering but there is more volunteering to do and I'm probably going to have to help a friend build his log cabin in a few weeks.

The good news is that Techshop is going to get a huge flowjet machine that can cut 4" steel in 6' by 9' sheets.

Hopefully I'll learn how to run that and make blanks for Ban.

There are lots of other good tools like laser etchers, small CNC milling machines, CNC routers and even things like heavy duty sewing machines.

The place opens up in about 10 days I think. I hope it is ready.

Well, the city of Pleasant Hill is safe

For now...

If anyone is interested, Sunnyvale has some idiots asking the city council to ban gun stores and I'll be going to that meeting next Wednesday. You will probably get to meet some CGF/CRPA board members if you show up and possibly hang out and get burgers at the In-n-out afterward.

You will hear how we are going to overturn the roster of "not in-safe" handguns, the "large capacity" magazine ban, the featured "assault weapon" ban and make California a "virtual shall issue" CCW state.

Damn! I am breaking out with hives and rashes from the amoxicillin. I had to go on antibiotics the day right before blade because of a sinus/throat infection. Started to get itchy and all over a few days ago and now my whole body feels like a giant rash! I am having to stop the last 2 days of antibiotics and may have to go in for a steroid prednisone shot if this chit continues. Working in the heat is killing me right now :(

Check that, it's the Wednesday after next in Sunnyvale.

San Mateo county is improving rapidly. If you have some hightened risk or other good reason, you can probably get a CCW license. I'm not sure what their standard is but "self defense" doesn't cut it for good cause yet. Look for the CGF CCW sunshine initiative to determine if now is the right time for you to apply.

KinJames and Carl,

I will pm you guys with the address. We usually meet up at around 7:30-8pm and hang out till whenever.

Yeah, I realize that now. I have taken amoxicillin in the past and never had any allergic reactions. I suppose my body has somehow decided to develop an allergy. In anycase, I am now on prednisone to counteract the hives and rash along with a strong topical steroid cream. Feel much better now:thumbup:

Good to hear you feel better, you need to concentrate on other things than a rash when you grind my knives :D

You guys read the article about the Vietnamese coffee shops in the paper today? I dont think that local Vietnamese city council woman wants to get re-elected.

Actually doesnt say a whole lot. Just says the cops know about it but dont want to bother with it. They basically said "Do you want us to worry about actual bad guys or chicks serving tea in bikinis while people smoke?" The council woman just says that they do plan to do something about it but doesnt say what.

yeah i read it, nothing is changing anytime soon. and even if they do crack down, it'll most likely just be the smoking
