Thanks Chuck - that is new to me. People have asked for a darker color that I wasn't able to get - it looks like that is the solution (no pun intended)! Gratzi.
Fyi, this next run will have black powdercoating as an option. I'm testing durability right now, and so far so good.

You bet Jal - I think the longer version is your best bet, but it's hard to say which one you'll like better. When I get the next run done, I'll send you both and you can send me back the one you don't like.

didn't see it in the thread, but is the feather logo available yet? also, would you ship out any of these without the holes drilled and without the clip bent (maybe for less money) so i can custom bend and drill them for my other knives....?

p.s. also have a PM2 that i'd probably be getting one of these for - recommend a short clip for that? i'd prefer it to be as small as possible but i don't want to get one that won't be as functional either and the pm2 is a longer knife than most of mine with shorter clips

Thanks for the post. For the next run, which will hopefully be getting cut next week, I will have the feather logo back.

I actually don't drill the holes - they're waterjet cut. The guy who cuts the blanks does them all at one time, so I don't think he is able to only cut certain parts of the clip and not others (i.e., the screw holes). But I can check on that. I'd be more than happy to send you an un-bent blank though.

I think the short clip works better for the PM2 (because it's shorter it has less of a tendancy to hang up on countertops, seat belts, etc), but either length will work. For the PM2, it is more of an appearance preference than anything else. The pic that Brock posted right above shows the shorty on a PM2. The longer clip is almost the exact same length as the OEM clip.
