Deja Vu all over Again!!

Thank you, Short Beak is the name I couldn't think of. It looks like a long coping blade to me.
I wonder if the curve in the blade is original , or the result of use and sharpening?

"Coping with Age"
"Ancient Bend"
"Real Something Knife"
😁

If there's any voting going on, I vote for REAL SOMETHING KNIFE.

Charlie I’m thinking the Blade was neither a Sheepsfoot or a Lambsfoot, the Knife blade shape is a dead ringer for a Rope Knife - the shape is original.
R8shell That curve is original and Jack it has a strong half stop.

The etch should read WAYNORTHS REVIVAL

The knife was an SFO from Lockwood Brothers for Young's Sheep Dip, so got to be something associated with sheep
Or a knife a sheep rancher/farmer/shepherd would find most useful
As mentioned, maybe a rope knife, a coping type blade for scoring sheep counts into wood or something ... looks like it would work well for cutting up sheep hides
Maybe cutting open whatever container, bundle, bag, box, Young's Sheep Dip came in
so ... TOO MANY SHEEP (mark) TOO LITTLE TIME (pile) ... or EARL

How about "Waynorth's Sheep Dip"
Elijah says it should be "Elijah's Sheep Dip" 😂
Primble says it should be "Rhidian's Sheep Dip"
"Leghorn's Sheep Dip" 😇
