If he's in a band, they'll have a myspace page or something, videos on youtube, etc. Perhaps a spam campaign?

The one time someone tried to rip me off I filed paperwork with my local Postmaster and ended up getting my knife sent back.
 
Found his band and Derek Haymore on faceBook.. Sent him an upfront and to the point message..

This kind of stuff makes me mad. And the law cannot help. Nice.

You would have to contact the states attorney in the jurisdiction where this person lives and file a "victims complaint".

I found this out after my son was hit by a hit and run driver (young black girl) while he was riding his bicycle to work at his 3rd shift job. She hit him, backed up off of his bike and then drove off - leaving her license plate at the scene and my son getting a good look at her. My son spent 3 days in the hospital and lost 3 weeks of work and now has $20,000 in hospital bills. The police have not even arrested the girl. She also has a nice facebook presence. It is nice to follow her fun life while the police cannot seem to locate her.

The above is how I found out it is now our responsibility to file the complaint. I always thought felony hit and run was illegal.

Spoke with the US Postal Inspection Services
Filed a Complaint
Awaiting a Case number
Placed a call to the North Carolina States Attorney Office to also inquiry if they can help.
local Stanley PD where very.....well lets say--HAD NO CLUE how to help me and or give me any direction..

I understand..I may have to and most likely will eat a knife stolen..
BUT this guy cannot continue to rip all of us off, I am doing my part..i hope the other folks that have been duped will step up and do the same..

if you skim over the esee thread someone contacted his grandparents and death threats were made by derek afterwards :D
 
Talk to a prosecutor and stress the PATTERN of ordering goods and not paying. That is admissible evidence of larceny under NC law. Cited the cases in the other thread for this mope.

He does it because he wants the goods but does not want to pay. He needs to discover what unpleasant places jails are. The music is bad. The food is bad. They stink of urine and stale sweat. They are full of uncool people (like him) and violent people. Who knows, he might decide it was a bad idea to rip people off.

Ok, I filed my mail fraud complaint this morning. We'll see how that goes. I do think Planterz had the right idea; posting to his Facebook account will get you nowhere but his band has one as well. A little bad publicity might push his bandmates to force him into making things right. After all, the court of public opinion is pretty powerful. I think after a few posts on their page about how Mr. Haymore is a liar and thief might get him to try and contact us.
 
If you posted on their facebook it's gone already. Lord, they are truly maggots!!
