Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

Good eye there, Whetstone.
Used my new peanut to cut the tubing to pad the screws to get my good bows off the couch. Hung up my airguns too.

Thanks. I'm not a true peanut cultist, but I'm liking this little guy a lot.
The bow pictured is a Shakespeare Sierra. (The other is a Darton Magnum.) One from the flea market, one from a garage sale.

Today my friendly little peanut cut some dead flowers, opened a box, cut twine, and prepped kindling so I can cook chicken over wood coals for dinner.
It's earned its keep today.

I have a large bloodhound and a small pup but it's most practical to buy one bag of large raw hides and cut them to the right size. Here's a clean cut through a raw hide with a GEC 66 "Calf Roper" stockman.

Those are thick cut potato fries (we call them chips) - The Chip Butty is a classic English dish! ;) :D

Earl helped me make a little snackette last night ;)

UGH! I'd rather eat the scales off that knife than eat tomatoes!!
I gotta ask, whats the "Earl" about?
If you didn't do it, does the etching bug you at all?
Cool looking knife, nonetheless.

Well you won't be getting invited for dinner! :p :D

Sorry I missed the Earl posts here until now, thanks for the directions, I hope that we'll be hearing more of Earl's adventures soon
