Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

Nothing food related for once

Used the pen blade of my oldest 6292 to open a package containing my new Bulldog copperhead (thanks again klineh!)

Very nice Doug :)

First successful attempt convexing with wet/dry sandpaper and a mousepad - woohoo! :)

Hmmm...

My Charlow came in handy while fletching some arrows today:

Excellent. Had a bash at archery yesterday at a local event. Having quickly watched the light go out of my girlfriend's eyes as I had extended conversations with a guy from the International Guild of Knot-Tyers, a blacksmith, a bloke operating a steam-driven crane, and various canal boat enthusiasts, I thought she might enjoy something more hands-on! :D

Foxy in the kitchen....

Wow, that arrived quick!

My Aitor just helped me try out some new chutneys :)

After splitting some pine firewood into 1/2" x 1" pieces, I stood out on the back deck breaking the pieces into about 5" lengths, so I could use the pen blade on my Small Texas Jack to split em' into toothpick size sticks for the fire place :)

What's the poor rabbit gonna eat Jack? :D

Foxy was in the kitchen again....

The Bulldog made quick work of an apple for a morning snack.

Will likely also slice up a stuffed pepper for lunch.

Very nice Doug, I always mean to try those peppers, they always look so tasty. Bon Appetit! :)

Hmmm.... you guys are living pretty healthy. I think you need a Schweinshaxe or something like this :D :p

Still on the rabbit food, but at least I don't have to worry about the camera lens steaming up! :D

Used the #15 to trim zip ties on some new bamboo fencing in the backyard. Then it helped out with lunch.

I used the Mora to trim down a branch into a spear to bore holes in the ground for some tiki torches. Worked like magic. Both knives were then stropped while I sipped a glass of iced tea and enjoyed the fruits of my "labor."

That's a good looking Mora. I really need to get one, or convince my son to turn loose of his (not likely!).

My Aitor Castor Pequena helped me make a sandwich for lunch and cut up a couple of tasty nectarines, as well as open my mail and cut open a couple of blister packs.
