DINGED.........Second Generation Badger Attack Ergo Combat Grade

Anyone got a green-black G10 yet. I would like to see one. Still heard nothing on mine. Hate to bug them but I think I will call the shop Monday in case I missed an email.

Finished a drop loop with keeper last night, starting on EDC sheaths for it next.

This knife will make a nice EDC-able blade for those who like them on the big side.

AAAHHHHHGGG!!! No one in the office to check on orders today.

I think red/black on sage is maybe my favorite. But I'd like to try a red/black on muddy. I think I have that ordered... somewhere down the road. Guess I need to look over my order status.

Just got mine paid for. There was something weird going on with my email.

These look a lot more similar than they feel. The skinny grip on the Gen2 feels completely different from the hand-filling original. I'm probably going to mess around with the orange first.

The edge thickness looks similar.

Wow! didn't expect them to be longer than the original. Can't wait for mine to get shipped out.

The one on the left looks just like mine, for now. I've been messing around with it, and I think the grip would be about perfect for me, except for one minor detail: the butt/pommel of it. It drops down far enough to really hinder the versatility of the grip. Edge out, like a chest-pull cut, or edge up, like opening up a deer, it really digs into he heel of my hand. And that is just messing around with it in multiple grips, not really putting heavy pressure on it. It really forces your hand into using the blade in either a hammer or fencing grip. Where it feels great. But this knife, and especially blade, screams for generalized use. I'm probably going to trim the pommel off and smooth that area. It will limit the knife's chopping ability, because the pommel works great in a choked back grip. But with the size of this blade, that is the last thing it seems destined to do.

I can tell you one thing, though: those that went for the BMe2 (including me) made a great choice. I think that knife and this grip are going to be PERFECT together. Even with that blade being only 9.5" (IIRC). And even if it comes in a half inch shorter (like my DTBM did), it is going to be a whopper of a chopper! Now I can't wait for it to be released!

Fixed mine. It isn't perfect (my work), yet, but close enough to stop and use it. Much more versatile to grip, now. No hot spot in edge out. Still feels good choked back. Better than I expected it to retain that feel. This is MY knife now. I LIKE it.

Nice! I think that looks way better honestly!

Anyone else still waiting on theirs? Missing an email sucks!
