Dlt trading Red Manix 2

I got up at 0330 for this. Loged on and ready to go at 0400. (launch time where I live). Had a bit of a delay because of needing to log onto pay pal. Glad I didn't use my rewards. I think that delay may have caused me to miss out. I'm really happy I snagged one. Sorry for those folks who missed out. I'd really like to see these exclusives done in runs of 1200. They'd sell out pretty much just as fast with less disappointed people out there.

That’s a good question in general for all of these Exclusives. Just curious...
  • Who determines the number of units in the run? (ie. 800 vs 1200, etc.)

Readily available funds from the distributor?
  • Even if they cost $50 a knife that is still $40k up front
  • Spyderco could ask for a MoQ (which is predetermined at 800-1200-1600 etc) and price reflective to MoQ (Not Map designation, but Wholesale cost per)

Total speculation truly.

Hellz yeah! Got my trifecta now, the M4 natural, the blue s110v, and now the red 20CV.
Favorite colors are green, red, and blue. hah. The natural jade has to suffice for the green until they do a kelly green manix 2. :)

I swore I wasnt going to get any folding knives this year, just fixies. Good thing the wife made the purchase and Im still good on my resolution. haha

Same here. DLT is really on the ball with this stuff. I hope to see more exclusives from them. I've also snagged a few Dark Timbers from DLT. If you think the Spydies go fast, the DTKs are gone within 30 seconds!

Mine just arrived. Wow. Much larger than I expected, easily the largest folder I own.
Only the second spyderco I have owned . A little stiff but it's new . Centered and sharp . This is of course my first ball bearing lock . My only concern is the release being made out of plastic.
Best of all the bright red g10! Pleased with it . A big thanks to dlt . Less than 48 hours and it was in my mail box , almost a 700 mile ride .

Just wanted to come here and vent about the flippers.
Already one on the exchange for $225.
LAME.
Way to hose the knife family.
At least flip them on ebay and dont try and hose the family.
I hope no one buys at the inflated prices.
Remeber, Jordan said they need to talk about another run of these.
