I agree, not a fan of flippers. Plus at that price its $106 more than the knife actually cost ($119.95 if you used DLTs $10 rewards) 87% mark up...sad day

Wow, that was fast! Hopefully mine should be coming today, but I feel for those that missed out.
 
Awesome that some of you have an extra and offered up here.
My wife just told me she got two when she ordered, thats a shocker.
I was bitching about the flippers and she let me know. Hah.

Ill ask some mods, but maybe us with extras that can let them go for list price plus shipping and fees can do some raffles.
Seems like a fair way to sell them and the people that didnt get one have another chance.

I would do this for sure

I feel the same way, and sorry to see it’s becoming prevalent here.

I’ve always looked at BladeForums as a family of collectors who share the same hobby. Learning and educating each other, as well as Trading and Selling at fair prices to cover expenses, not gouge each other at eBay prices.

I recently interacted with a fellow BF Member re: a Rivers Edge Cutery / Spyderco Para 3 CTS-204P. He pointed to inflated $300.+ eBay prices as the expected price. I was told good luck when I declined.

No bueno.

The secondary market price of this knife will settle down. For whatever reason, PM2 usually sells better than Manix 2 even with the same materials and slightly higher prices. The DLT tan 20cv PM2 has the same materials as this Manix 2 just a different handle color, and the secondary market price of it is now about $170.

Plus, Jordan @ DLT implied another run of this Manix 2 is possible. And the DLT red m390 PM2 is coming soon @ $160 iirc.

I missed this Manix by maybe just couple of minutes. But I will not pay more than $160 for it NIB.
 
And mine came in a day early! Fantastic piece! I'll have to post some pics here shortly.
 
I'll still have to wait for tomorrow for mine! Excited to receive it though and appreciate the fast shipping to the east coast. Will post pics upon arrival.
 
Positive: Unreal fast delivery speed. Really impressive!! Other companies should take note!

Negative: Blade on both favor clip side. Uneven grind on one. :-/

Well centered, decently sharp and is SMOOTH. He's a flicker, and will only get better.
 
Got mine today, a day early. It is perfect; I wouldn't sell it even if someone offered me $225.
 
Got both of mine in. Typical perfect Spyderco quality! The other is on its way to another contributing member here!

Got mine today. Knife looks great. Sharpness varies, edge towards the handle is very sharp but towards the tip doesn't cut paper cleanly. Action is very stiff, MUCH worse than any other knife I've owned.
