You mean they made a RITTER Griptilian clone?Doug Ritter and Hogue have basically put out a Griptilian clone, I’m sure it’ll be a great knife but doing this doesn’t feel or sit right.

From your lips to Doug's ears. I will be first in line to guy an orange one.Only in black? I would like a orange G10 version please.
I agree. While I don't necessarily like the "clone" aspect of this knife, I will eventually buy one, especially if they come out with some new colors. Hogue makes great products and I want to support Ritter. The Griptilian Benchmade should have made.
Sad to see Doug putting his name on something like this, hogue as well. Could they not come up with their own handle and lock?Sure looks like it. If that ain't a Ritter Griptilian clone, then I don't know what is. It says USA on the non-show side of the blade.
This isn’t my experience with Benchmade or the experience of anyone I know personally, I’m going to reserve judgment until I’ve held and used one but I expected more of Doug Ritter and Houge, simply ripping a design in this manner is the sort of thing I expect from Ganzo on a $20 knife.Maybe so, but I'll bet QC is better and you may even get a blade that is 1/2-way centered right out of the box. It would be nice to have a knife with no scale rub, even grinds and G10 scales at a reasonable price for a change.
