It's been over 60 days now. Not sure if any delays happened.
I just re read the description and it says composite materials for the scales. Hmm... G10, micarta or carbonfiber?
Microtech??? that would be awesome.Interesting for sure. M390 steel and the price is quite reasonable it appears. My guess is that it’s a well built knife from a fairly large manufacturer. I’ll be keeping my eye on this for sure and I hope that I’m not disappointed with the product once it’s revealed.
As far as who it’s built by, it’s easier to figure who it’s not.
Definitely not Benchmade for obvious reasons
Not Spyderco, they’d never realease a knife without that hole in the blade. Yes I know it’s a legacy thing, but is it necessary on every damn knife?
Kershaw, maybe. Price would put it as a high Kershaw more than a low ZT
Gerber, I hope not.
Buck, that could be interesting. It would not be out of line for Buck to work with Doug and the price point seems right for them.
The new class of Chinese makers? Maybe. M390 is right in their wheelhouse.
Well, I’m out of ideas. Anyone else want to take a stab at it, (no pun intended)?
Hogue? There’s something about that style of jimping and the cutouts on the thumb studs that looks familiar but I can’t place it.
