A relief my friends as I thought if I was the one that lost EARL I'd get my behind run outta this forum
See, it takes awhile for NZ customs:thumbup:

Visions of Paul - skin hanging off in places from being skinned alive - screaming as the Mob of chanting Traditional Forumites lynch him - with me watch trembling with fear as Im next - all because Earl decided to go astray......
Duncan my friend, that statement had me in tears laughing so hard!
Can't wait to see the tour you take ole EARL on!
Thanks for all the encouragement above guys because if I were to get the boot, I'd go kicking and screaming
Of course I'd be behind Duncan pointing at him while we were being scoldedor burned at the stake

I posted this in the "good barlow" thread but this is the place for it now that I've caught up. I live in Olean, NY, the home of Kabar! I can show Earl their factory, I can take him to the Case museum, and I can take him to Cattaraugus and Little Valley, where many of the old traditonals came from! Let me know and I'd be happy to help out in Earl's travels.
This thread has been great so far!!

Paul - I have an idea of the fear and pain you must have felt while waiting for Earl to arrive in NZ!
Just a warning for those of you who haven't hosted Earl yet. There's a lot of stress involved!!! No kidding......Posing him in precarious places for photos, all the girls that need to be managed. People looking at you like you're a weirdo when you're posing him in public places. You're always afraid people won't handle him with great care like we do, drop him and crack a handle! The risk of losing track of him or having him fall out of a pocket. All the girls (well, that's a good thing) Most of the time that he was with me, I kept him in a zippered knife pouch in a safe place! Then when you leave him in the care of the post office......man is that scary!! It's a great relief when the tracking info shows he's arrived at his next temporary home.
It's all worth it!!![]()
