Well, all I can say to my Forum Friends is that I am very sorry for the delay in taking earl out - he seems to have settled down rather well, and has been accompanying me through out my days -which have been incredibly busy...
So as time has gone on, I find my self becoming more and more suspicious of something happening in my Home...everytime I enter the room, I hear Sue stop talking...and theres no one else in the room but Ol' Earl...... Sues started to mention that possibly Earl needs to "clean his joints out " and perhaps Earl could accompany her in the Shower - thats when I put my foot down!! I dunno guys...is it just me or is something happening here?
Things have been a bit tense here lately since I split Sue and Earl up - so I decided that Earl could come with us to my very good mates Wedding...Mark and Sonia - are a great couple and got married in one of New Zealands older Churches - This Church still has the original Bullet Holes from the Maori Wars.....
This Church was involved in a very famous part of New Zealands Maori/ European Wars... on September the 13th and 14th 1863 11 White Settlers and 6 Militia stockaded the Church and held off over 200 Maori from a War Party that was invading - these 17 men held off over 200 men for two days and two nights until relief came from the Regiments...its quite interesting reading about this, and here is the link if you want to have a quick look....

Pukekohe is a lovely area - well it has to be because its my home town for goodness sakes, it has a lot of Market Gardens in the area because of the rich Volcanic Earth, Pukekohe East Church sits right on the edge of a Massive Volcano Crater - its quite a beautiful area.....
Here is Earl, at Pukekohe East - one of the Famous Areas of Maori War sites of New Zealand you can see part of the Volcano Crater in background....
Sue and Earl in front of the old Church - beautiful New Zealand Native timer was used to make these old Churches and Houses in New Zealand - Rimu, Kauri, Totara, Matai -all just simply beautiful Timber..
A couple of the Bullet Holes......
The photo of the Bullet hole above ^^ - this was in front of the porch, so you could see on the other side of the wood - where the wood smashed out and splintered away - the old lead slugs still had a bit of boogie - I would not have like standing behind that Board!
We got there Early as the old Church only sat 80 people - Sue and Earl inside the Church - Ha! - note the "distance" they have between them - They are not fooling me one bit....
Sue, Earl and I at the after function.....
Earl meets the Bride - Sonia is a real gem of a Lady - she is a lovely Gal, and has a awesome sense of Humour...Earl and Sonia hit it off right from the word go....Earl about to tucked in nice and warm
Its time to go, I cant see Earl anywhere at all, a search is underway.....
and yep...wouldnt you know it....that sneaky Old Dog Earl is up to his old Tricks again.......
More to come before Earl flies across the "Ditch" to the big Island for the Convicts - who make jokes about us here in New Zealand and sheep- but they have a LOT more sheep per head over there - and I can tell you - whenever you see the sheep over there - they look worried - darn worried - I am not too sure as to why, and I dont want to know!
