Guys,
Outside of my "trouble" bag which resides in the trunk of my car and includes a Buck Intrepid tanto, first aid kit, Pelican C cell flashlight, spare batteries, chem lites, emergency blanket, granola bars, water, and a walkman...Here's my everyday carry:
1. Glock 23 loaded w/ hydrashocks
2. Ga. firearms license
3.a. Small regular serrated sebenza (casual)
b. William Henry T-09A (dress)
c. Benchmade Mini-AFCK (jeans)
4. Surefire C2 w/ extra battery/lamp kit
5. Leatherman micra (on fast release clip for air travel)and Princeton Tec Pulsar II on my keychain.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it...

I'd love to see your kits, but the places you posted the images on do not allow hot-linking.

You can copy and paste the link to view it.

The past month or so I have been carrying a large regular Sebbie, and I LOVE it.

Don't think I've ever seen a serrated Sebenza.

I just checked his web site and Chris does list partial serrations as one of his Sebenza options.

Is your small Sebenza partially or fully serrated?

Can you show us a pic, please?

Thanks

Thanks very much -

Interesting -
was that photo's partial serration by Chris Reeve?
is it a lefty?
or does he serrate on that side of the blade?

and is Gteckwreck's blade fully or partially serrated?
and was it done by Chris Reeve?

Thanks

I think that photo came from K.V. Collucci, I don't know if it's lefty or not.

Thanks for the author reference

It's a lefty -

I did a search on
serrated Sebenza, and user name K.V. Collucci

and found several posts that refer to lefty large and small serrated Sebenzas.

Guess I should have just asked you for the reference to the photo post in the first place :o

Mine was done by CRK...It was actually an unintentional mixup. I ordered a plain edge, but when it arrived, it was serrated. I wouldn't have it any other way now.
BTW, I've tried to post a pic, but I think that unless you're a premium member, it's not possible. At least the process seems to be beyond my tolerance level.

How do I post my pictures ?

For Non-Gold members posting pictures means that the photos needs to be already displayable on some (other) Web site -

one then simply pastes the url reference for the image (right click on the image to see the properties for the url) into the IMAGE prompt when composing one's post.

If the image is not already on the web - a lot of people use one of the on-line (digital) photo processing sites that provide FREE image storage (eg: Sony's ImageStation.com) to post their images - and go from there.

There probably is a previous post with detailed instructions on how to do this - if some kind helpful person could please post the reference?

Only other hint is to try to please limit the size to not much larger than about 600x450 pixels to be kind to people who are still on lowly modems (....like me :o )

Okay I wanna play too ;)

In a waist bag (Lowe Alpine):

- Self-made Kubotan as a keychain;
- Wallet with all I need plus 100.25$ (emergency 100$ plus 25 cents
for emergency calls);
- Leatherman Wave on a lanyard, attached to the waistbag with a
Silverfoot clip that as a little (unaccurate but sometimes helpful)
compass on it;
- Corkscrew (you know, french wine and stuff ;));
- Space blanket;
- Bandana;
- Fine grit whet stone (very small);
- Mini Mag-Lite
- 1 bright colored Bic lighter;
- Benchmade mini-AFCK (814) as EDC multipurpose knife;

In my pockets (I usually wear black, khaki or navy BDU pants):

- left cargo pocket: another Bic lighter with my smokes (yup...)
- right rear pocket: fake wallet (a cheap, old wallet with 10 bucks and some old ID's and bullshit in it... with my old address of course). I don't mind giving that one away...

Cheers!

Which corkscrew? can you show us a pic, please?

I have a Chateau Laguiole with olivewood handles, nice but way over-priced for what it is......

It really was a luxury whim item that I bought as gifts and kept one for myself - so it stays at home with only occassional use (I usually use a mechanical corkscrew)

My EDC corkscrew is on my SAK - a customized handle Victorinox Scientist.

Although one is not often called on to use a corkscrew at a restaurant - I once "raced" a waitress, who was already half way down the cork with a standard waiter's lever tool - and won - she claimed I "cheated" since I just screwed through the foil instead of removing it.... not to be "ungentlemanly" I had to agree with her :D :p

what i tend to carry with me:

Right front pocket: Kershaw Leek
Left front pocket: either a CRKT M16-01K or a Sog Blink
Right rear pocket: wallet
Left rear pocket: Bandana

i also keep a Leatherman Micra on my keys from time to time, and my "hate/have to" carry Nokia phone. all of this has forced my beautiful and much loved Swiss Army pocket watch out of the fray. there's just no good place to carry it, with all this other stuff.

abe m.

Not quite sure what you mean:confused: . It stays folded in a triangle in my left pocket.
