Good to see you posting again Morgoth. Did you replace the sclaes on your Camper with the ones that hold the pen?

Paul

Hey PWork,
Thanks, it's hard to get around to the forums sometimes in college, but I try to check in every now and then.

Never did replace the scales YET, but it's still something I have in mind. Probably over the summer break.

How do you like it?

Its a great knife. It doesn't flip quite as well as the BM4x knives, and I wish it had a spring latch. It is a little bit smaller and quite a bit lighter that the BM's though, which makes it great for an EDC. Tolerances are tight, very little play even when it is open and it locks open and closed tight as a drum.

It flips pretty well, and very fast do to how light the handles are, but it is not balanced quite as well as the BM's and the handels are more square, making arials and finger rolls a little tougher.

Great bali though, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Chris Reeve Sebenza in my right pocket, BRKT Mini Canadian on my right side and Benchmade 210 on my left.

Nice knives. I have a BRKT Mikro Canadian and it is probably my favorite knife, though not an EDC.

Used to carry a BM805-TSEK - but nowadays I sport a SRKW Bandicoot in my pocket. It fits nicely and doesn't get in the way. If I'm strolling in the evening I'll add a Surefire Centurion. That's about it. I travel light and sturdy.

Currently carrying:
Right front pocket, Gunting in pocket sheath.
Right rear pocket, Kershaw Scallion.
Left front pocket, wallet and Inova T2.
In backpack, Leatherman Wave.

it really looks pretty nice your "little" filework at the two blades - that gives me an idea to try it as well. did you use a special hard round file ?
Stefan

...did you use a special hard round file ?...
I used a small fine jewelers round (rat tail) file to mark and start and a small fine jewelers half round file to finish, then some sandpaper to take some of the roughness out.

Luis

thanks for the quick reply - I have to look, with which of my slipjoint-folders I will start, their steel is not too hard like ATS-34 etc. at my one-hand folders.
