EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

View attachment 1469763 I used that Klein stripping knife for years before I started using a pocket knife for work. Not much difference in blade shape

Unless you're going to send it to Idaho for a replacement blade, you could grind the broken edge to a chisel & it could come in handy at work.

I'm afraid I'd have to get a new blade though.:)

I carried and posted my Rainmaker here a couple weeks back after re-tying its lanyard with the same bead but different cord and knots. I was still not pleased with that effort and decided the otherwise handsome Ti bead was just too big for a long, slender knife and the oversized knots just made it look more out-of-place. I got the new bead in the mail yesterday and added it along with more subtle cord and smaller knots this morning. I'm not sure if the knife follows the weather or vice-versa, but it's raining/snowing here as I write.

I was reminded of @Zeroedin 's post from last month while posing this knife delicately for the shot below. Sure enough, I went to adjust the lanyard and the knife fell, bouncing off the edge of a concrete bench and opening on the ground below. Fortunately it hit glancingly along the closed spine and I can report no damage incurred. It's certainly not the first knife of mine that's been put in harm's way for a photo op and I haven't always been so lucky with the outcomes. I suspect that Z and I are not alone in this either.

WOW! That is a gorgeous knife. I didn't know it existed. I'm on the hunt now... I love long thin pointy blades. Great lanyard too.
