It's a great idea. I like your plans for the knife. I need some ideas for some scales for this one.Yes the original red micarta inlays were removed and the Chad Moss did the inlays. The backspacer is J2H and the clip is Millit. I'm currently sourcing the black timascus studs and pivot and hopefully backspacer as well.

Good idea!A 112 on 1/12

one of my favorite BM's.I figured I'd break up my posting into yesterday and today segments, Sunday having called for something more modest as I hosted seven youth basketball games in our local gym. I went with my BMK 707 Sequel with it's aftermarket D.O.A.T. (now DeathGrip?) CF scales.
I already had a couple 705's, loving that model as the perfect smaller version of the 710, and some years ago tried the Sequel just for the heck of it. I just hated its easily scuffed, blackened aluminum handle with G10 inlays, and, already having these CF scales in hand that came as extras with an earlier 705 purchase, I switched them out in fairly short order. While I still prefer my two remaining 705's--one of each in ATS34 and 154CM--this is a nice little knife that gets a turn every once in a while.

Dang, that's cool to see baby hawks, that's something you don't see very often! I often have a hawk flying way above my house, just thermaling around. My crow friends absolutely hate them though. They're mortal enemies haha. Anytime there's a hawk above my place, there are 3 or 4 crows chasing it around trying to get it out of there. Sometimes the hawk will perch up on a tree limb and the crows will take turns, one by one, swooping down full speed and just missing him, or sometimes I think barely nicking him. It's a warzone sometimes. We have a pair that nests yearly a couple blocks over. Our back yard was part of the flight training grounds for the babies one year. The adults fly through regularly. They are fun to watch.
In 2020, the couple had a pair of little ones. The adults were constantly hunting. One afternoon my wife saw white fur in our side yard and thought it was leftovers from a hunting trip. Turned out some a-hole, witch tossed out a 5 week old kitten. He turned into this
