A couple of cool enigmas, John!!Several years ago I found a Schrade Cut Co large jack with different era bone on each side, pretty well thought it was a one off anomaly. Imagine my surprise when one of my vintage knife friends offered me a Cut Co sheepsfoot jack with 2 different era covers on it.
It's in high condition and has early pick bone and early peach seed bone, interesting in that the pick bone side has 4 pins and the peach seed has 3, the liner on the peach seed side is drilled for a 4th pin.
Now there are 2 known examples I wonder why they are like this, factory prototypes, salesman sample, factory repair, probably will never know.

Wow John what a beautiful example!! You rarely see those with cocobolo handles, usually it's the standard ivory celluloid.
