Knife collectors' joke name for the celluloid color of faux pearl. Also seen are 'cracked ice', 'marine pearl', etc. I don't know what is seen in the hardware stores now for toilet seats, but back in the '60s they often were colored something like that, and maybe some kitchen dinette tables as well.
