Elusive Schrades

Off The Wall! (at Schrade)
From the Schrade factory collection, comes this CampKnife (a scout by any other name, still smells as sweet!:D)
The front handle is faded from exposure, while the back gives us a truer take on the dye job of the times, I believe.

Is the "Wall" collection the same as the "Trachtenburg" collection ?
roland

I think that is something else. The "wall" I refer to is the Schrade Factory collection that was sold when Schrade closed.

Gev, that's a can opener. A primitive one, dangerous to the uninitiated!!

Charlie,

Have you used this style can opener? I have wondered myself how controllable this opener is compared to others, especially the Remington style opener.
Really a nice find! And I echo others when I say I would like to see your collection in its entirety. Someday perhaps!

Thanks Charlie. The museums in Canada are spectacular and I only wish I could visit the Waynorth.

This came in the mail today. I was afraid it might have delrin handles since they are so richly colored and consistent, but they are bone.
Nothing wrong with delrin, but I was looking for bone.
3 1/2" long, a nice pocketable stockman. The Elusive part is the condition, a couple of specks away from mint! Unfaded, it must have lived in the dark since it was made - I am happy to liberate it!
Nice and snappy, this one is in very good fit and finish. I am trying to stick to the Schrade Cut Cos, but I cannot pass up a nice Schrade Walden like this one!
As always, the nice close-ups of the scratches are on my scanner glass, and not the knife! Sigh . . . . .

Thanks, Doug!
I see by your avatar that you like the serpentine pattern. Is that a three blade also?

(The old double-click strikes again! Please excuse the redundant post!)

Charlie, thats a honey for sure, and one cannot blame you for not being able to go past this knife, nothing quite beats peachseed Bone that looks like that, could I stick my neck out and say its more attractive than stag at times!
