Emerson Rep Now on Blade Forums

I just sent in my HD7 for a tune up and EmersonRep was a big help with fast and courteous replies. Thanks, man!

Hey Gang- Do you like the new EmersonRep, or what?
Nice job here, EmersonRep. Thanks...
rolf

EmersonRep is making me view the company in an even more positive light than I did previously.

It's an action that speaks louder than words in showing which companies legitimately care about their customers, which clearly Emerson does.

I mentioned this in another thread, but am curious if this is a possibility we will see in the future?

While it would be more of an office/city EDC, the Commander blade would make a 3-inch knife a formidable worker, despite its smaller size.

I would like to see a 3-inch Commander, around the size of the XM-18 3-inch. I think that blade profile is much more usable than other smaller Emersons (and most all production knives, for that matter), and that the usable characteristics of the Commander blade would make a smaller knife in the 3-inch size range much more usable than many more conventional shapes/grinds.

The Mini Ritter Griptilian and 3-inch XM-18 (among others) is proof that buyers want a high-performance knife in this size with a super useful blade and that a 3-inch knife is a much more useful tool when you have a blade shape/grind as such.

Check out the Micro-Commander. It may be discontinued but we have some left in stock. That's as small as it gets with a blade of 2.9"

Hey man, I have an Emmerson Super Karambit and the Karambit trainer, both under warranty. I have had each about 3 months, and just now I have wanted to switch the pocket clip to the other side for a reverse grip after I draw. But when I switched the clip to the other side on both the trainer and edged knife, there is a small bit of the liner metal overlapping the left most hole preventing the screw from being able to go in. Is this a problem with many peoples knives? I love it but if I can't switch the clip its gonna be a pain in the ass to send it in for warranty

Call it, Pimped Out Of Warranty, and have the most pimped beyond warranty member win a pimp hat. With a big cockatoo feather in it.

When EmersonRep joined us, I thought he was a salesman or like a KershawGuy and was able to get us deals and what not. I sent him a PM asking how well he could do on a new Commander!

He emailed me back and informed me that the price on the Emerson web site was the price of the knife. I felt dumb but he understood my confusion and has proven to be a wealth of information and a constant companion for all the Emerson owners here. We're all very lucky, or fortunate, to have such close communications and ties with Emerson because of him.

I believe about anything you do like disassembling, and reassembling. Or any type of modification, or pimping VOIDS the Warranty. It is all spelled out in Black & White on the EKI Website already.

No, if you are inclined you may take your knife apart and reassemble it without affecting the warranty. Replacing parts, or adding parts that require you to alter the knife's initial design will win you a pimp hat with a giant cockatoo feather in it.
