A rain event has stopped the nut harvest, giving us a rest for a few days. Today I had my Candiru with me.



Fun fact- the tanned hide its sitting on was skinned with this knife. Its a very capable little knife.

My clever son 3D printed me some scales. Im super proud of him .

Brought my 5 out for a tarp overnighter just over the border in the Belgium woods.

Time to put the kettle on for a cup of tea. A little piece of fatwood helped to get the damp firewood burning.

And tea is ready

These are the TKC scales.
I love them on my Esee 5 and Esee 6!
Make it a different knife compared to the original more squared handle scales.
Really fit my hand well, super comfy.

I have no hands on experience with the 'new' Esee 3D contoured scales, they look a lot like the TKC one judging by the pics.
My Esee knives all are from before Esee started making the 3D contoured handles....
If I'd to buy them now, I'd but them with the 3D handles from factory without a doubt.

This is my day to day edc to keep things running smoothly. I carry it all in my pockets and satchel i made out of oil skin. If I cant fix it or adjust it with these tools its serious and it means a trip back to the shed which can be up to a 5km (3 mile) drive.
