Ugly is fine............Dead is a problem...We have these ugly mofo's in the SW United States. Everytime I see one, it reminds of predator.

The walnut harvest is over in the groves, packing nuts will continue for another couple weeks. I took the opportunity to go for a hunt this morning.

Have him make you another, instead of a hook, do a half round shape. That way you can lean your rifle on it, instead of laying it on the ground.
Make a slot for a strap, made out of 550 cord or velcro.
