Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I was carving a pinewood derby car for the Dad race and found the grip of the Southard, particularly in the area of the lock and cutout, got uncomfortable pretty quickly. The grip and the flat grind of the tenacious worked out better for that job.

I didn’t notice the step.
Oh sweet, and man that stinks. I can definitely see that, I have a resilience and it fits similarly well in hand. But I hope the cutout isn’t much of a problem on it. I’ll probably learn to use it regardless of it lmao. Thanks for your info! If you ever have time I’d love to see how that car turned out if you have pictures. Thanks again!

Got this recently, a Herb Derr skinner. This man's knives are just stunning in person. I love to just slightly roll it in my hand and see the blade pattern reveal itself in the different light angles. He does everything on them; steel, handles and the beautiful sheathes. Selling for easily half of what he could get for them...

I'll post this again just to remind myself that I actually bought it. It finally got through customs in Frankfurt Wednesday and now is in tracking limbo until it pops back out of US Customs and into the hands of USPS. It came DeutschePost/DHL regular shipping and I was told "about 2 weeks." Just killing me waiting, especially with several days between changes in tracking each time.

After seeing the dismal offerings of 2018 I had to go back 15 years to find something decent...
