Just picked up one that I saw on Friday, went back on Saturday and bought it.
Fun friendly show as usual, great seeing the ever amazing master makers Glenn Waters, Andre Thorburn, Bud Nealy and my homie Sam Abdelrahman with his 'HEAdesigns'.

I bought this on Saturday, the last day of the New York Custom Knife Show (NYCKS).
Made by Made by Frank Landau III.
A Persian up-swept blade shape.
Steel is Nitro V. / 61 RW.
Handel scales are Thunder Strike Kevlar with brass wire embedded.
The blade has an acid wash tiger stripe.
The sheath is C4 Kydex.

Man, I want a shiro soooooo bad. Maybe next year will be the year. I always ues the annual bonus from work to pay bills but may have to put my foot down and tell the spousel unit that a grand is going to Russia!

Impulse buy: Spyderco Kapara. I had my eye more on the Amalgam, but I am iffy about the detent strength and I have plenty of very good flippers. The Kapara seemed like a good X-Mas present to myself. Don't have many PB Washer Knives, like the comp-lock and the blade length seemed nice in a good sized package. Gonna be here tomorrow.
