I have been mostly to traditionals lately, but I have been wanting to get this knife for some time and as I got a chance bought it. Also I had thought what kind of modifications I would do, so I proceeded with them right away. I got a black coated model and proceeded to strip the coating. Also I changed the long tang into a front flipper. The blade can still be sanded with finer grit, I am now at 800 and could proceed to 1000-1500. Edge is scary sharp and the opening is really smooth, I can flick the blade out no problem. This has no clip, which is ok by me. I have an idea to make a IWB/pocket sheath for this of black leather.
