  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Looks like a Victorinox Swiss Classic shaping knife with some sort of treatment to the blade or is it something much more exotic ?

Right on. A Vic paring knife with a tungsten carbide edge. Bang Tang just did a run of these.

No pics but picked up a old hickory 3 1/4 inch paring knife. Sanded handles then burned them to darken and linseed oiled. Then dropped the edge angle. Final a mountain patina pattern with mustard. Such a nice little slicer now.

How's the Spydie Junction ? I've seen that on special lately and have thought about getting it myself. sorry wrong place mods please remove thanks

The Fox and the Giantmouse
Delica for size, if you're like me and never check sizes before buing a knife.

The Fox is pretty cool, the size is great, ergos are great, but the lock is a nightmare.

And the GM is... pretty much the same. The lock is a bit better, but being that it's marketed as a "work"knife, I don't get it. Still, good knife without gloves.
