Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Two new ones came in earlier today (and one that I've had for awhile but forgot to post). :)

A Spartan Harsey Folder 3.25. I'm pretty much in love with this thing (thanks Quiet Quiet !) already. It's stands toe to toe with my Small Sebenza in every aspect except two areas. The grind could be ever so slightly better. Keep in mind, this is being really picky. On a $200 knife, I would be ecstatic with the grind. On a $400 knife, I think it could be slightly better. The other area is ergonomics. I think the ergonomics on the Spartan Harsey are pretty significantly better than the ergonomics on my Small Sebenza. This thing just feels completely at home in my hand. Highly recommended.

I've had this guy for awhile now, but forgot to post it. The Heinnie Haynes exclusive UKPK in S30V and red G10. This is a really cool knife! The metal backspacer was a really nice addition. It took about a year and a half to receive this knife after paying, but it's finally got here. They are already sold out, but I gotta say... Please don't put in a pre-order. You'll be waiting a long time as Heinnie didn't seem to want to heed the warning that they should get their next order in early. 🤷‍♂️

And last, but absolutely, most certainly not least, the GEC #86 Barlow in 440C stainless steel and polished, red/black Micarta came in! It kind of has me speechless. Just beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

The Mini Skirmish arrived today.
For an older used knife: it's not in bad shape; but has a few issues that need addressing
Once I get the prior owner's name removed from the scales: it's got some blade movement that points to new bushings...
But overall: it's a keeper@

I had been looking at a smaller fixed blades for a while, finally decided on the Freeman 3.5" Backcountry Pocket Hunter.

Freeman 10.9.21.jpg
Great knife, very solid in hand and compact, just what I wanted with CTS XHP which is one of my preferred blade steels.

Freeman.2 10.9.21.jpg
Size comparison, the Boker PryMate Pro is pretty small, Freeman is about .25" longer.
