Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I did a separate post on this, but though to post it here too. USPS just delivered the Boker Plus Kwaiken Air in titanium today. It's already repackaged and ready to be sent back to the vendor if that says anything. Here's a photo of the knife from the vendor, and a quick photo by me right before I repackaged it.

The scales aren't even lined up properly. Boker Plus Knives...what a joke.

Stick that sucker in a smooth jawed vise and crank away.

My latest acquisition comes courtesy of the tremendous generosity of my good friend Fixall Fixall . This absolutely perfect little Boker Barlow arrived yesterday, and promptly went into my pocket. I am grateful, really the only thing to say. I mean, just look at it!! Natural micarta is one of my favorite handle materials, and I could not be more pleased with it. Life is good, friends. Life is good. Also, don't mind the raindrops! :D

Very nice! That O1 should patina nicely😍

I've been on a mission the last few weeks to explore the line between inexpensive and cheap, everything I've been getting is under $50 and I've been trying to carry and use them all. These came in today. So far on the quest I've been most impressed with the Boker Kalashnikov and the Ruike P801

Got an ESEE Churp, my first from the brand. Smooth action, early lock up, and smooth scales.
An old letter opener with a homemade index sheath and a Bastion LLC Cutter, my first product and bolt action from this brand. The Churp and Bastion I'd use for light to medium and their pocket clips are a bit big and shiny otherwise, decent for their price.
Last is a project knife, a cross between a puuko and a tanto using a Boker Optima blade in Cruwear with a Gijo wood handle and homemade kydex sheath.

Also came to the sad realization that I use an EDC pen alot more than my knife...
An excellent pen. I carry one in copper in my daybag. A tad on the heavy side, but I love that you could unscrew the flashlight section, stand it up, and then write in the dark with it aimed at the paper if you needed to.

Just received a Spyderco Bradley Bowie as yet another "gift" to myself.

It is WAY bigger than the Junction that I bought not long ago.

The Bowie is nicely balanced but I prefer the size, blade shape & "heft" of the Spyderco Serrata,

which is heavier than it looks because it has a 7mm wide tang (vs the 4mm wide tang of the Bowie).

They're all great knives but the one I'd most likely carry hiking/camping would be the Serrata which IMO is often overlooked.
