Ahh, and of course with all Freemasons being knife hating pedophiles they obviously employ platoons of ex Cirque de Soleil acrobats to keep the general populace derprived of edged weapons with which they could possibly open their bottles of anti-depressants

This should become a short story or a TV pilot.

Does anyone know any movie producers to whom we may sell the talonners story? It would make a great hit, similar to "Breech", but Australian version.

whatever 'bro, i hope it all works out for you,

Thanks mate. All seems to be going well.

I heard that a very well known knife/militaria dealer in Sydney refuses to do business with him because of stories of dissatisfaction and damaged goods as well.

Not to mention what I've heard about him elsewhere.

It wasn't that post you read I had to edit, it was the one before that.

I never wrote anything about his sexual habits or lack thereof.

I don't think I'm allowed to write anything else here though regarding Zobair Bary, until all issues are finalised.

AnimalHousePA, I'm not sure what you're referring to as fanciful, but the jerk-it smiley is out of place here, where tempers are already inflamed.

Extracts of some correspondence received today:

Hi

We received an email from xxxxxxxxxxxx advising us that you are trying to get your money back, therefore if you are trying to resolve the matter genuinely, please follow the instructions in the bellow email that was originally sent to you on the 10th of April.

Thank you

xxxxxxxxxxxxx

You have been to Knifeforums and Baldeforums under the username “talonner” and trying to ruin my business. As the result you only made yourself look bad. Why all these false accusations we both know that I did nothing wrong and you got the knife you wanted. I did not change the warranty card as they are all the same for all knives, if you were to ever claim warranty it does not really matter which card you use. In the following quote on Baldeforums you are saying that :
“You never offered a refund. I don't want a refund. I want what I paid for and I want them in factory new condition you piece of shit. I also want a public apology. And compensation.”
Bellow is my email from a couple of nights ago after your after-hour phone call. I clearly offered you a refund, but you did not even respond. WHAT DO YOU WANT? I will not replace any items for you as I do not want to have to deal with you in future. So if you would like your money back, please send the knife back by COD, I will then send you a money order for the original amount paid for the knife.

Please reply here if you would like any progress in this matter, not in the forums.

xxxxxxxxxxxx

I am sorry for losing my temper earlier. It is just that I divert the office phone to my mobile for emergencies and I do not expect customers to be calling after hours. None-the-less, I would like to have a look at the damage, so it would be great if you could send me some images of the damaged area. I am happy to refund you the money for either one or both the items ones I see the photos. But I am really sorry as I will not be replacing the knife as this is a limited edition variant and we only have very few in stock.

Regards

Hi Zobair,

I never received those emails.

xxxxxxxxxxxx, [deleted] is pursuing the matter [deleted]. If I paid for items I did not receive, and I received damaged stock, then I am entitled to a refund or an exchange for all items including postage costs. You aren't offering me an exchange or a full refund.

The knife has been restored, although it would not be considered
factory new condition, therefore you would most likely be unable to
take it off my hands.

There are photos of the knives and sheaths on the bladeforums website.

I desire what I paid for in new condition. You are unable to do this.

I will not be returning what I have as they may be used as evidence.

I have the wrong sheath for the DV-2 I ordered.

"I am happy to refund you the money for either one or both the items
ones I see the photos. But I am really sorry as I will not be
replacing the knife as this is a limited edition variant and we only
have very few in stock."

"I did not change the warranty card as they are all the same for all
knives, if you were to ever claim warranty it does not really matter
which card you use."
They are two different knives therefore would have two different warranties.

You also never provided a receipt for my individual tax purposes.

I will not accept a money order as they can be cancelled before they are cashed.

I perhaps did not receive those emails as they may have been diverted
to junk email. If they were, that is not your fault.

However, I still want what I paid for. [deleted]

I know the DV-2 LE comes with an extra knife located in a 'piggy back'
sheath on the DV-2 LE sheath.

Regards,
xxxxxxxxx

After in depth checks of my spam folder, inbox, and sent mail folders, I can't find the emails Zobair claims to have sent. I conclude he never did send those emails to me.

Once again you make yourself look bad. You really should cut your losses and go away now. You're doing nothing more than digging yourself into a deeper and deeper hole.

You mention some pictures on BladeForum to "Zobair", I have never seen you posting anything than hot air on this forum...

then I am entitled to a refund or an exchange for all items including postage costs.
That is not correct. If you buy at a brick & mortar store they won't pay for the gas you use to drive back there and return your purchases, either.

I will not accept a money order as they can be cancelled before they are cashed.
There just ain't no satisfyin' some folks.

There is no legal responsibility for him to provide me with a refund. I am not going to have myself out of pocket for his ineptitude.

An exchange, however, is a legal responsibility of his. He refuses to do so.

Hopefully I have educated you somewhat in regards to the rules and regulations here.

After past experience with this person, and his dodgy business dealings, I would not put it past him to take the items and cancel the money order, leaving me hundreds of dollars out of pocket.

There is no way I am accepting a money order off him. It is extremely unprofessional in a business sense for him to even offer a money order as a way of reimbursement.

Actually, the way that almost all companies provide refunds is by refunding a customers credit card or by cheque. By what means are you wanting to be refunded?
