LOL I was just looking at pics and saw this, look at my index finger. :D That is why I only work on swords every few days.

el sucko. I woke up with some insane pressure at the back of my head and had to take some ibu and go back to sleep.. still feel dizzy and annoyed.. hope you get well soon!

Oh that sucks, I have had the same thing going on, really bad allergies here, I hate being dizzy. Now I have something on top of that, my throat is killing me.

I'm going to chill today, I haven't made it off the couch... netflix!

On the plus side I have a new full face respirator in, it is so nice! For those of who don't shave very often they are crucial, yesterday when I was grinding Kydex I couldn't smell it, nor the acetone I use to clean them up! Now that rocks!

Had that the other day, woke up with a pounding headache crawled to the bathroom and popped a couple 250's and crashed back out. Turns out it was just a hangover.

Lol, still sick here... I was hoping it was some kind of allergies but nope, coughing up solids is never a good thing. I am tired of being sore all over, I'm taking lots of vitamin C today.

I'm watching a Wally Hayes knifemaking video right now... cool stuff.

This guy was from Bergen, Norway. Not 20 minutes later another ship left the port, but I didn't get a pic. It was also from Bergen, headed to Long Beach then off to the Panama Canal and up the east coast.

Cruisin through the shop here at the sailing club, I spotted some interesting wood cutoffs in the trast. Solid bamboo laminate flooring! At least it looks like bamboo.

The smaller blocks will make great sanding blocks and the big ones are about 10"x3/4"x3.5"

Being a test driver would be sweet! I have a 4runner and a T100, I love them for here but I'd love something a lot faster. I have a '62 Ford unibody shortbed (only like 1200 were made I think) with a 351 Cleveland I really want to fix up, it is smoking fast!

I am a test cutter, lol! Yep... sharp...
 
I saw that '62 Ford in one of your pics. That would be an awesome project. The 351 Cleveland in a pickup would make that a rear-tire shredding beast!

Well I just wish I had a job with regular hours! This crap of bustin ass for a couple weeks then nothing for a few sucks! Been pounding the pavement like crazy puttin in apps but nothing yet.

Got out into the shop today for some playing around with sharp objects and powertools! Now its time for me to cook dinner. Waiting for a big pot of water to boil. Chicken and sun-dried tomatoes over pasta. Anyone have a beer pairing for this? Its an alfredo mushroom sauce and egg noodles. I'm thinking lighter flavor beer like Duvel. Opinions?

Something malty with some body like an alt beer. I'm thinking something like Anchor Steam but a little lighter. :D

Lol I have regular hours here, all day almost every day, I just want regular pay! :D

Cool you got in the shop, I rested again today... still sick, I haven't been sick for a year probably. I did get out of the house to pick up a part for my truck. The car computer and online searching told me to look for a loose vacuum line and I found one, it had broken at a fitting so I got the part with the fitting in, some kind of solenoid for emissions I guess. :)

Man, I was barely in bed (my time) when you got up for work! Hopefully you can get out early and not work a long day!

I jus dropped my son off at daycare and am headed home for several uninterrupted hours of shop time! Got a new knife goin yesterday, gonna see if I can get the handle block layed ou today.

fast- you have a 2yr old boy, yes? early 2 or late 2? And how's daycare working? Is it needed or just appreciated because the lil kiddo is a terror? :D I want a pack n play with 5ft tall sides.... :D
 
Sloth - yeah he's almost 2. 9/11 is his birthday. Daycare is nice because we both work and he needs some social time. No fear in this one, he really takes after me! I swear he needs a chanlink octagon pack n play sometimes!
