Morning gents. Got back late last night from Columbus, OH due to taking my son back to college (he was visiting us for the weekend here in Kentucky).

Mike, what model Springfield 1911 do you have?

Take care.

Marc I have the 1911-A1 complete it has a match grade barrel Novak low profile sights skelotin trigger and hammer it is stainless. When I got it it was their top model along with the TRP only differance is mine does not have a rail.I am one of those goofs that hate a light on my weapon to illuminate me.I like it in my weak hand and strob the areas.

Morning...BC, that's a nice pistol. I've never been a fan of light rail's on 1911's, just messes up
the lines of the whole gun.

Hey guys, good morning...

One day I'd like a 1911 pistol, I like their style and want to make grips for them as well. Plus you can shoot stuff.

I mentioned making more glow scales, here is four ounces of glow dust about to get thrown in the mix.

that's so cool. I might apply some glow paint to a spare instrument cluster I have for the Mag.

Morning men. Shot a big doe yesterday afternoon. My brother had one of his buddies pick it up and he is going to cut it up for our handi cap brother. Nice 25 yard shot double lungs and she dropped within 50 yards. My brother had to use his four wheeler to get her out because neither of us could drag her at all with our physical problems. Now at least I know my younger brother and his wife have some quality meat to eat.

I think they even have a red glow, it is cool stuff isn't it! The paint is nail polish with the dust in it, be careful because it can look grainy because of the particles... super cool though!

Man, that looks like a bag of radioactive goo!!
You should have seen it when I added the resin! I have a small spot in my yard with glow in the dark grass!

Daniel,

Are you sure that batch of glow dust was not used for Pink Floyd light shows back in the day...:D

Not sure, this batch was dirt I scraped off a truck marked "radioactive" to save money. :D

Nice! You can't beat venison! Organic too!

Here's a couple glued up with West System G-Flex epoxy.

Morning gents. Been working my butt off lately, trying to get up to speed at the other store. Yesterday was my first day there and got to meet some of the staff under me. Everyone seems legit except for one. She was a housewife for 10 years, just got divorced and lost custody of her kids, I feel for her, but every time I talk to her she looks like she's about to lose it. She really needs to get it together.

Sorry for the rambling, but it really makes work difficult when you have to cater to one person.

Daniel, were you interested in some teak slabs for handles? I may ask a few boat repair guys I know to hang on to some so I can go through and get some good pieces for you.

Morning! I hope that lady chills out! I hate it when people are a problem at work. I used to be a chef, I have seen some great stuff in kitchens over the years, lol.

Teak, sounds great! I'll pay the shipping...

Good stuff, ill start collecting what I can find. Don't expect much if any figure, but it is fantastic for grip with about 5 coats of teak oil!

Time to head to work, man it feels good to be able to say that again!

Sounds awesome! The G-flex I use was made for stuff like teak, it hasn't been used much for scales in the past because it used to be tough to get a good glue bond. It is super grippy stuff, people have been missing out!

One of those looks like it may be my beast!! Just got back from my appointment and Cabelas.we got a few real good deals.their gun prices are way high though.for a 454 like mine they want 100 bucks plus tax than what I paid in August this year.ready to head home then have a appointment with VA on Thursday but that is only a 3 hour drive each way.

Very colorful background you got there;). Like the looks of all you've got goin on there.

BC-I'm really impressed with all you're doing in light of the tough times endured by you & your family. Way to step it up:thumbup::thumbup:
