Thanks!

One of those looks like it may be my beast!! Just got back from my appointment and Cabelas.we got a few real good deals.their gun prices are way high though.for a 454 like mine they want 100 bucks plus tax than what I paid in August this year.ready to head home then have a appointment with VA on Thursday but that is only a 3 hour drive each way.
It is! Handle grinding will be soon!

Very colorful background you got there;). Like the looks of all you've got goin on there.

BC-I'm really impressed with all you're doing in light of the tough times endured by you & your family. Way to step it up:thumbup::thumbup:

Excellent! :D

Hey Daniel, I was able to get a few used drills over the last couple days. Should be sending them your way
in the morning. Really raining here, had sun and a high of around 80 today. Weather man says we'll be lucky
to reach 50 Wednesday. Talk about a sudden weather change.

Morning guys, finally I get an early shift, off at 4 today and off tomorrow. Maybe ill get to play in the garage for a bit! Been wanting to finish up a mini and start another, so we'll see.

 Thanks! I owe you some money for shipping. :D Very cool!

Morning all, still raining and cool outside. Makes for a dreary day.

Hopefully it gets nicer soon, we have had some great weather here lately. The fall colors this year are just beautiful. I'm just hoping we don't get hammered with snow later this year! We have had 10' fall in three-four days quite a few times, not fun! Last year I made a nice snowboard jump on my driveway and the weather was great!

Nice! You have a lot of talent with the minis! Keep it up! One day I'll build a mini 2 brick forge and hammer out some minis or mini damascus just for fun, they are cool.

Afternoon men.Just got home from downstate.Long drive to say the least. Now a trip to Iron mountain tomorrow then rest for the wicked!

Marc sent you a e-mail brother!

Daniel if you get the chance can you throw up a picture of my monster .36? That and the deer for my brother would be the highlights for me this week! Thanks in advance. My wife did see a black bear when we drove down Sunday afternoon. She was excited about that. She loves fresh killed black bear steaks!

I'm going to try to get some decent ones tomorrow, I shaped the handle today and it is looking great!

Bear... if you could get one legally here I might be eating bear steak, lol. I'll just hide in the trash can with a .36 special... :D

We're already on page 50 of this thread, pretty cool!

I have been in the shop all day and just got in, I have the .36 special and O1 Bushcrafter very, very close. I'll be molding up sheaths soon! I'm making a fire starter to go with the bushcrafter also. It will black G10 laminated to blue/black G10, pretty cool...

Glad I didn't find this forum sooner- I'd really be broke:rolleyes:

Anxiously awaiting pics (foot tapping)

Hey you don't need a forge to hammer out minis, I just use a propane or mapp torch with naked flame real close to my anvil. When forging steel that small it cools so insanely quick you only get 2 or 3 good hits before it loses color. Heating your anvil helps a bit, but you still have to work fast. 12-16 ounce ball peen hammers work real well, and I use auto body hammers for different shapes in that weight range. Maybe I'll start the planning of that SA dagger for you Daniel to finish your set! I just haven't had the time to reduce the dimensions on paper yet. Next for my collection is going to be a bayonet for my 1917 I'm building, then likely another scale mini of it! Minis are fun stuff!

Morning men! Goobie thank you for the kind words brother.Unfortunately my dad was in bad health when I was growing up so all of my brothers and sisters look at me as a father figure. My handi cap brother use to have problems with people beating him up and stealing his money. He knew who the people were. Lets just say they were very cooperative when I showed up and took 4 of them on and beat the shit out of them. Told them if they ever messed with him again I would know how little the valued their life.My brother can not help his mental condition and I will not allow any one to threaten him or steal from him or God help them if they make fun of him and I am around!

Morning y'all! Bout to get an early jump on my day off, coffee's brewin, the house is still quiet (except for the dog and my FIL having a snoring contest), the city is still asleep. I love watching the sun come up, hearing the sounds of productivity start up, and then the school bell around the corner rings and the yard explodes with children. People complain about city life, but have you ever really stopped and listened to it? It is a fascinating transformation as day destroys the night. Don't get me wrong I love the wild as well, but city life is a lot more than people think it is.

Morning everyone...sun's trying to come out some. Cloud's aren't cooperating. Hoping to make to
