good morning finished up my buddies rat, nothing fancy I just stripped off the coating and stonewashed the blade and pocketclip for him. I am still working on mine I need to get over to Xanders and drill the holes in the scales .have a great day everyone!

Afternoon guys. Just got home from work. How's your daughter doing Big?

Making tacos tonight, I think its gonna be pacifico beer to match. Possibly Sierra Nevada Summerfest.

Ugh, super bloated from too many tacos! The wife and I took the kid in his wagon for a brief 2 mile walk after and I'm ready to pass out! I've been itchin to get in the shop lately, with the wife home all day now, I get stuck doing chores, talking to her, and something she likes to call "quality time." Apearantly you just do mundane tasks, or even just sit and do nothing with each other. I guess its the latest fad, all the couples are doing it now. I don't get it. I tried showing her what all the couples are doing on the internet, but she didnt like that idea...

Just in from work and the alarm is set for 6:30a to go back for day 3. 10 more days of it and I get a day off. Woohoo.

Rough schedule Crewbot, been there done that. Maybe I'll convince the wife to head out to the City tonight for drinks, I'll look you up if I make it out there!

Daniel, what is going on out there at the movie theaters?! 12 dead from a crazy shooter at the Batman release last night? WTF is wrong with people?!

We don't get the news but my wife just told me she saw the article this morning on the net. That is horrible to hear.

It's odd, I have never been able to check out Colorado besides my local area. I live in the SW corner and it is a lot different here, especially politically and socially. I don't worry about my safety like I had to back home in TX.

I agree, what the heck is wrong with anybody doing something like that.
 
I just glanced at the article, they caught the guy! I think they should do something highly motivational with him as an example to anyone else considering something like that.
 
yeah I guess they found him in Denver, 24 years old. Must have been an unstable character, that act is not something anyone with any sort of competance would be capable of commiting. The arrogance and mental dilusions involved with commiting such an atrocity are really unfathomable.

Afternoon men.My daughter is doing good.The hard part is keeping her down.She wants to go back to work early.No work till after Aug 6th.That was some crazy shit at that movie theater.That is a pure example why I always carry a handgun with me at all times. That also is because I have had a lot of death threats from prisoners in the past.Last week after my daughters surgery I ran into a former prisoner at walmart.He use to be one of my porters so everything was good.Just shows though you never know when or where!

BAM! :p

Mini Cleavers finished, sheaths too! I came up with a cool sheath system for them... full handle to grab and they click in with the forward hole for retention.

Yesterday I ground the flats on 20 :eek: Ti Bottle Opener Knives so they are well on the way! :D
 
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to work a outside event last night ,it WAS my day off UNTIL my boss realized he jacked up the schedual and POOF my day off was gone.The one cool thing about it was a 7 year old boy won a new bike in a raffel. The smile on that kids face made the whole night worth it!

Morning y'all. Had a blast last night with the girls, we went bar hopping 'til we found the best dance scene. I ran into an old friend I haven't seen in years which was nice. I was supposed to have today off, but my boss called me yesterday before I left work and asked me to cover his shift. Soooo, my shop time for today is gone. Again. I have Monday and Tuesday off so I hope to get at least some time out there. Well have a good one gang!

I want one BAAAAAAAAD but I still have to pay for the Ti bottle opener knife and I need to save for the friction folders:(.Maybe we can work a deal were you take a automatic deduction out of my pay check every week and just send me one of every run you make.:D hope you guys are having a nice weekend!

Hey Thanks! ...on the CD and the Cleavers.

I'm not sure what I'm up to today, probably more work on the Ti B.O.K.'s and maybe finish this wild friction folder I am working on. I was going through older projects that were set aside and saw the frame half finished, I had to do it! I have all kinds of stuff I forgot about, a blued mild steel letter opener, bottle openers, all kinds of stuff.
