Good morning guys!

I have a busy day ahead! I somehow got 20+ pm's and emails last night so I need to write a bunch of you guys once I get some knives made! :D It is really cool to see this.

Morning guys. Gonna go take the dog for a walk, then do start my cross training workout to get ready for deer season. Been on the bike for the last 8-10 weeks, now its time to start doing intervals on the elliptical. Its pretty rough at first, 850Kcal in just 45min, but its worth it when trying to hike my butt out of a valley with base elevation of 7000' and peaks approaching 10000'. My uncle damn near had a heart attack one year because he couldn't make it out, he's since dropped 40+ pounds and boosted his cardio so hopefully he can keep up with me this year! I like to scout fast and move all day long when I hunt.

4 weeks of 45min intervals, then move up to 1 hour for 2 weeks, 1.5 hours 2 weeks, then start endurance and lung training, slow pace very high resistance for 2 hours. Maybe some hill climbs on the bike too.

Hey Big, congrats on the sobriety! As far as the mother in law goes, just remember this: the letters in "mother in law" also spell "woman hitler!"

It's a little late to say Good Morning, but whoops, I just said it :D

fast14riot, are you sure you're burning 850 Kcals in 45 min? You should be losing about 325 lbs. an hour at that rate ;)

Oops! Your right, not Kcal. I just wish it was! Seems like I should be able to since I takes 1/10 of that time to consume it! I just get that unit stuck in my head from cooking and readin packages. I'm just glad they don't put it on beer bottles, because if its not on the label then I can say it has no calories!

Just finished another 45min session and burned up 860cal today. Now time to work!

Cool you are doing some training X. High altitude can get to you, I'm at about 7500 feet elevation here and you never really get used to it. I get winded walking uphill here easily but at sea level I have nearly limitless energy for a week or so until I am adjusted. If you feel hung over but shouldn't be that is the altitude!

I'm making some Thai Green Curry from scratch tonight, lately I have been having fun making curries with just the individual spices, no paste. I like spicy food, anythimng spicy is usually cool with me!

I'm going camping !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:triumphant:my wife and I are going to the mountains.Just her ,me and my knives:D maybe by my next backpacking trip I will own my very own DFK knife. hey Daniel a thought just popped into my head not sure if it would work but what do you think of a Ti chopper?well I have to go and pack my backpack.I hope you all have a great weekend!

Nice FBC! Have fun!

Ti chopper... would be cool but Ti isn't very good for chopping it seems.

The new Ti I have coming out would be perfect for hiking and camping though, Carbidized Ti saws well. Gather dry wood and use the knife to make notches for fire starters, etc.

I plan on making a machete made to fit in a backpack, it will be light but big enough to chop well.

Good morning guys!

Carbidized Ti and machetes?? Sounds like winners to me, can't wait to see those(the machetes)! How much you thinking for a machete??

Morning men. Busy day already today. Lots of work to do, got a lot done at home before I left as well. Hopefully it stays productive!

I'm going with the Painting X routine this weekend. Painting the rooms in my attic on a 90 degree day. The brother-in-law of all X workouts. :D

Great idea BigCountry! I'm jealous!

Machetes... they are a ways off but I want to keep them as inexpensive as possible, maybe $150? I need to see how long it takes to make one, I think they should be somewhat inexpensive but I know they will take a fair bit of time.

Nice X, me too! I have been on sheaths since about 6:30 this morning... I have a few more hours to go.

LMAO!!!

That sounds rough! I need to do a lot of painting here before winter, ditch digging too. Today my workout has been making sheaths! :D

Whew!!! 105 degrees!! I think I could fry an egg on the back deck.

That's what I'm saying! It was probably 90+ here today, pretty hot but not that bad. My shop cools down at night but the big grinder motor heats up the grinding room fast.

I worked in this one kitchen in Austin as a chef, we had a mesquite fired grill that would easily get to 2000 F! Once we had the kitchen thermometer actually break from the heat, it was always over 120 in there. One guy melted the grill, liquid metal! That sucker got hot and even ate up the brick inside but it made for great steaks and tuna.

Ti machete... 16in long, 1 3/4in tall, slight recurve, 1/8in thick. 4 1/2 handle with slight curve at end to "keep in hand", let me know when one is ready :)

beer to you >;]

Good morning!

No Ti machetes, just steel but I really like those dimensions. That's really close to what I have drawn up. They are a long ways off, Ti Bottle Openers and Friction folders first.

Afternoon BC!

Busy here, taking photos. I was up late yesterday and early today finishing sheaths for the new batch! :D They are all done by the way, just need the photos!
