Here's the little whittler, the edge is just about 1.25" long full flat grind down to .007" and I rounded the spine for comfort.

Awesome knife and the photo is priceless!

I'm still in TX with limited bandwidth so not much posting here, lol I killed the whole month of access my first night with youtube.

I like that blade shape, cool on the hidden tang too. Nice!!!
 
Mornin guys!

Gonna be a long day today, one of my employees, his wife had her second child last night. He was scheduled to close tonight, so looks like I get to be here all day.

Went out to a nice dinner last night with the wife, she took Zyler over to Grandma's to stay the night. I was stoked because the house was empty, no bums on the couches, no kid screaming, no cartoons on tv, just peace and quiet. We go enjoy a nice dinner and bottle of saki, head home after closing the restaraunt down and the wifes uncle decided to come back to the house. Oh well, I can put on a movie in the bedroom, but her uncle is just so loud and overbearing that I can't even enjoy a movie. Grrr!! :mad: I'm ready to just tell them both to go kick rocks! I want my house back! [/rant]

I almost took my finger off with the bench grinder last night.The bad part was that I wasn't even making knives.I was working on someones bike and needed to make some slight modifications.The finger is sore but still attached:D
 
Yep, Coco'ro. Too funny, the restaraunt is only 1 block from my house and we drove there! It was raining just a bit too much for the wife to walk. I didn't even know where to park, because I have never driven there.

You weren't modifying a frame like I did, were you?! That was too much fun taking that frame to the grinder, just so parts would fit, rather than getting different parts!

Afternoon Sasquatch Squad!

Lunch time! Chowing down on some chicken tomales from the deli/liquor store across the street from work. They're not great, but someone jacked my fried chicken outta the fridge at work yesterday! Who dares to steal some Muther F***in fried chicken! That's a capitol offense in my house! :mad:

Actually, these tomales pretty much taste like sh!t. I'm just lying to myself so I can get them down.

So while in line, a local wandering drunkard moseyes on in, leg brace, cane, too drunk to speak. He heads for the 40's, standing there trying to get his wallet out (and trying not to pass out) he pisses himself!!! WTF?! Not just a little bit, this is full-on, thinkin your at the toilet, pissin like a race horse! A big puddle right in front of the register, no less. :mad:

Ugh, I'm gonna just go crazy on the next stupid person to enter my personal zone, keep an eye out on the news for a crazy guy with a DFK! [/rant]

Yeah that's right! Friday is an all time favorite...

Oh yeah I like that tractor idea! That is a pond too, it is a record drought this year and it is 10' lower than normal, it is usually 3 acres. I grew up fishing on that pond! More pics later when I get the bandwidth.

Back to CO on Wednesday with big plans and fresh from a great break! :D

Today the wife goes back to work, my son goes back to school and I get my sanity back! They have both been off for 3.5 weeks! Should be fun trying to get my son to go to school!

Just about to go to the flea market with Zyler. Hopefully I can find something, but if not I always enjoy the walk with my son. Going to pick up some baked goods today as well. Todays search list includes; fountain pens, knives (duh!), axes, spoke shave/draw knife, and machinists tools.
