Xander ,sounds like a hard decsion but I am sure you will make the right choice.I have a welders/leather apron you can use if you want to.
Daniel, dang, you got room for all that new equipment in your shop:confused::DI bet your like a kid in a candy shop or in this case a Fairly in a knife shop:D
Have a good one y'all.

Yeah Xander, do well! :D we are all rooting for you

Kevin just barely! I had to build a smaller bench for my KMG to get it to fit. I have a dust collector, horizontal grinder, regular KMG, bufffer, massive drill press, barrel blaster and soon a compressor in an 8x12 room! There was only one way I could make it all fit and I had to be creative to say the least! I am adding more supports under the wooden floor in that area.

I have to say I do feel good about the shop improvements, a lot is on the line but I am going to make it all happen! I feel I am going to really be able to take my work to the next level.

Afternoon men.

Lunch time here. Been a slow day at work, but of course Mr. Murphy is always looking for a calm, quiet moment to rear his ugly head. Internet went down and I am in the middle of a shift change, customers start to roll in and I have to manually process credit with a "knuckle buster" and hand write receipts. Always feel rushed and customers don't really trust that system anymore.

So, on top of all this, Mondays are my days for ordering, I have 7 purchase orders to write as well as deal with all this stuff. Too funny, my cashier is barely 18 and has never even seen a knuckle buster credit card imprinter before! I barely remember them being used when I was younger, my parents stayed away from credit cards, but I would see them occasionally.

This makes me think of things that my son will likely never see or know of until it's in a museum! Geeze, I'm not even 30 until next month but I already feel old.

Hey old timer, what do ya need a heater for in them thar parts ? I hear it's like the tropics:D

Sounds like a major disaster to me! lol

I think everything here is breaking, I have had to fix the truck and the snowblower this week as well as a bunch more stuff... still working on a ton today.

Evening guys.

Just got home from dinner with the wife and kid. Went to a local pizza place that was holding a fundraiser for our sons school. Pizza and beer, doesn't get much better than that! So Zyler decided he wanted to sit at the bar, which was fine, we get some fried cheese sticks and he grabs a table knife. I usually let him play with them, he has a good idea about them being sharp (knives in general) and how to use it, and not to touch the blade. He was stting there sawing through his pizza bone (that's what he calls the crust) and hands me the knife and tells me its not cutting, I need to sharpen it! Made me proud :D!

Now home and going to try and relax, rains settled in today which is nice, warms it up outside considerably.

haha those dang pizza bones are tough! teachin'the boy right!
Daniel ,Just be thankful you CAN fix those things.Alot of people just buy a new one or have to pay someone 80 bucks an hour to fix it for them.BTW my toaster oven is acting up so I sent it to you.It should be there is 6 to 93 working days .Thats what the guy at fed ex said anyway:D
y'all have a good night.

Morning.
Hope you all are in good health and warm.
It's cold here.

I am lucky my in laws are still staying with us... they were watching our place while we were gone and sure enough their transmission went out. My father in law knew how to fix most of the heater problem and the internet helped with the rest.

Today I fixed a door and a flat on my truck... I just picked it up from the shop yesterday too! outta control here..

lol I even fell off the roof yesterday, I was luckily not hurt :) it was funny I'll say that

I'm still looking for that oven! lmao...

Morning.

Hey Cabra!

I was going to pick up a compressor for the shop but was derailed... I am about to go to do some practice grinding in the shop! :D

...still sick here but feeling better for sure! I will get some update pics together soon. :D I'm hoping to be in the shop again full time here in a couple of days. It has been a crazy week I'll say that!

what's crackin 'squatch squad?!

Drizzle, cold, wet. That's what's happening here.

Daniel, keep it real. Better film it next time you're on the roof.

Where's Rolf been?

Cheers!

good morning folks.Yep wet and cold here .......well not cold cold like Daniels house cold but it is cold for Cali.My fried is living in Utah and told me there is a 1" of ice on everything. He had to tell me the difference between snow and freezing rain . Snow sounds better to me:D.Have a good day ya'll.

A branch broke off from one of the huge oaks we have, and got snagged on a power line (secured with a steel cable, from the looks of it). Good thing that happened, because it would have landed on my Magnum!

Damn, close call Gooey! Better go buy a lotto ticket! Hey I wonder how Kevin's sweede speed wagon would do against your magnum? Battle of the wagons! You got any video of you on the track with it?

I have a 100 year old almond tree hanging over my garage with my VW in it, I worry about it all the time. A couple houses down from my parents place had an entire ash tree uproot and land on the new car in the drive way a few years ago, it was about 40' tall, pretty impressive.

-Xander

Not the Magnum!!! I'm glad to hear that it made it!

Thanks Cabra

Xander I will film it next! :D I am used to the roof being frozen which gives me traction... I can't close a shed door so I was trying to get the snow load off.

Yeah where is Rolf!

It is raining here, I can't believe it. I expected snow and am happy to see the rain.

Yesterday I got the compressor. The compressor incident I will call it, lmao. Those things are top heavy. :D

Gooey ,It sounds like you must have installed the aftermarket forcefield just in time:D I'm glad your magnum is safe.I would cry if my wagon was smashed!
Daniel,PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!We need you!New compressor? POTATO GUN!!!!!!!serriously you should make one
