More 3V Kwaikens and mailing today! I have the CF handles glued up and most of the wraps done... time to soak them today!
 
Sooooo

I pretty much killed it in my interview!!! Nearly 2 hours too! Waiting for background check to clear but was told to expect a call tomorrow or Monday for sure! This is potentially a 50% pay increase for me too!

Btw, any of you that are friends with me on Facebook, please refrain from posting anything about this on there, I have current coworkers on there and nobody at my current job knows. To avoid the awkward position if I do not get the job and still have to work with them knowing I'm looking elsewhere, it would be a great help to me.

Because I know some of y'all are curious, the position is running a Web order fulfillment department for a plastics and composites company.


I'm pretty stoked right now!!!

Hey guys! Pics are up! :D Thanks for wanting to see some! It has been all about detail work for the last few days and that last 10% takes me 80% o the time.

Cool Xander and got you on the FB stuff. Sounds good!

Huge day here with 10 knives glued up including my first Wa handle. Look out for finished knife pics over the next few days. :D

In have been working more on my forge build too, forged DFK's will be happening!
 
Dibs on the first forged DFK parang with mill work and contoured handles! Nothing specific :D :)

Ha! Wool slacks were a bad choice today. It was what, 85° or so?! But, gotta look good to back that game up!

Btw, yes, carbon cloth, Kevlar cloth, carbon/kevlar hybrid, carbon uni tape, fiberglass twill, weave, matting, uni tape, and various g/sm weights. I believe e glass and s glass too. Along with pultruded rods and all kinds of resins and such too.

I'm just hoping things work out!

So, I've been lurking here a bit, but I have to say this must be the best thread on BF!

Greetings from a fan from all the way over in Sweden! I'm still looking to score my first, second and third DF knife. ;) (A RF2, Kitchen knife, and flipper, in that order probably... And why not a rigging knife or kwaiken too if I'm lucky and rich some day... ;) )
