I'm back I swear! :D lol

Lots of stuff getting done here despite being sick but not many pics!

So much is going on right now... crazy week. :D

Thought you were forging!...LOLOL :D

Get well soon, so we can get more pics!

:D Yesterday it took just about all day to get pics so I spent the rest of the day gearing up for folders!

The forging is a side thing at the moment, it will still be a while before I get it set up. (still waiting on supplies, etc) I'm taking care of business first even though I'm slow at it, lol. :D I am reading about forging and milling quite a lot and am excited about what the future stores.

I added up my time on the 3V Kwaikens and I either spent way too long or did not charge enough... I'm trying to figure out how to make them faster but at least they came out nice. I'm probably too obsessive about stuff! I spent 3 days on the flats alone... I swear I said the flats would be rough! lol

I'm excited about folders!

Remember D, never sacrifice quality for quantity. You're known (and growing in that aspect!) for your attention to detail. I'll wait however long it takes. I know most folk will. And if that means a few more bucks, don't feel bad :)

Thanks Bobby! I have really been inspired and feel like it is time! I'm planning on mostly time intensive pieces for the rest of the year.

Don Hanson III has always been a big inspiration... his work is so good and he just gets the job done. I am not going to try and get everyone a knife this year, just make the best possible.

Big respect to Gavko and Tuffthumbz! They make each knife a work of art and watching them has made me feel more confident in stepping it up.

Meanwhile my wife Sara just called and they have been at the Doctors for 2 hours now... apparently we are sick enough to hospitalize and Amber has a mandatory checkup on Friday to make sure she is OK. Low O2 levels and we have all been feeling faint. They have ran tests for everything and think it is some form of Bronchitis but are not sure. Wish us luck!

He's building the forge. Forge fever has hit the Squatch.
Good thoughts your way, Daniel!!!!!

Healthy vibes sent your way dude! No smoke though, it's not good for bronchitis...

Hey, maybe you can make a double duty stop at Buddy's office (screen name HTMD), he's in CO, a doctor and one hell of a knife photographer!

Thanks guys! The Dr. prescribed a nebulizer and some albuterol for Amber. We are gong to be watching her closely!

I feel your pain D my boy at 2 was in the hospital for RSV which is a respitory virus and it suck! Breathing treatments and inhales when there 02 gets low can be scary. Take care and hang in there good vibes headed your way, hope you all get better.

Ugh, hope all turns positive sooner than later. This winter was another hellish cold season here.. the non-stop coughing, worse at night, was killing us... Now I'm getting some weird throat thing again, yay.. at least it's just me..

Damn kids are insane germ farms! Surprised often they can get sick, and us sick too.. and double the "no smoke allowed" :) Try and get sleep... SLEEP and water... later!

Hey brother hang in there. My first daughter Harley got rsv at just 2 months old. Was terrifying hearing her struggle to breath, and looking at that sweet face with a mask on every two hours. Was tough, but kids are much more resilient than we care to acknowledge. Good thoughts your way.

Morning guys!

Y'all make it a great day, it's not gonna happen all on its own!

3 days left at my current job! gotta go pick up some paperwork from the new one today but I start at 0900 Monday morning! I think I'm looking forward the most to the more normal hours, they're open only til 6 and closed on Sundays. It's gonna be nice to have a normal schedule again. Put in nearly 4 years of this night and weekend work, that's enough for me.

Thanks Justin!

They thought for sure it was RSV but the tests came back negative... I've been up since 3 am watching the kids! I'm tired but hanging in there, thanks for the support!

Thanks Sloth! I wonder if the Pine forests we live in have anything to do with this... there is mycelium and mold everywhere. Whatever it is I really appreciate the support!

Big thanks XxdrpxX! That's rough at only two months... Jade never got sick and this is scary so I was up most of the night. Amber seems to be feeling good now, the nebulizer is helping. Thanks very much for the support!
