I knew you had one... cool to hear on the plunges too! Mine is flat, I know it is a bit less versatile but this is currently a dedicated flat lapping machine. It is the same as a KMG but with a steel base and no VFD mount.

Hang in there! We are thinking of you guys.

Temporary post, trying to fix some screwy Vbb code hanging on in my quote code for this thread...

FOY, first of year, Timber Rattlesnake!
At dusk lat night, a Yellow Timber Rattler was going across our road, with a full belly. I just love these snakes.
'Appy Saturday!!

Thanx Kev. I know you understand how I feel about my pets and dogs in general.

As if to prove some sort of superstition about 3's, the wife great grandma went to the hospital with a heart attack about 3 hours ago, the wife is now a mess...

Ugh, I need another beer....

Sorry to hear that Xander, we're thinking of you guys.

Ben I hear you on the Jalapenos! If I lived in a warmer spot I'd have a full on garden... usually have at least a half dozen home made preserved hot sauces going.

Cool stuff Rolf! Back home there is a snake (Coachwhip) that will stand up like a Cobra and try to look in the car... I have had it happen otherwise I wouldn't believe it!

Hi FBC! I hope things are going well!

You guys have a good one!

Damn, I'm locking the doors and turning my phone off, I'm tired of getting bad news. The wifes great grandma passed early this morning. She was 92.

I'm headed to work now, got family at the house with the wife.

Hang in there, X! If you need to get away come by the house. I will be off at 600 tonight and I am off tomorrow.
Thanks, D. I am doing well.
A good morning to everyone!

great grandma? crazy, and sorry to hear your loss again.

I only had one great grandparent even alive when I was born. I met her maybe two times before she died.

Though my grandma, she made it to 99.. died a few years ago..

And my wife's favorite family dog was just put down yesterday, so they are all sad now.. She is "back home" coincidentally. I'm just solo chillin'

Soooooo I slept in! First time in months or years, literally! Woke up at 8:45am and was like HOLY SHEET! :D

Nooooow tis COFFEE TIME! Off to my favorite watering coffee spot!

Hope things brighten up and keep in mind we are all here for just a short time then off to the great abyss... Without bad times, there would be no good times..

Been that kind of month. May can stuff it - I'm ready for June.

I'm with you, Sloth. I never met my great grandparents, and had three surviving grandparents (well, two plus a step-grandad) when I was born. The last of them died a decade ago at age 96. My wife's grandmother just died this month. Her paternal grandfather (who just got re-married at 98 - to a younger woman - 93) is still kicking though.

Rattler #2 by the heat pump this morning. Black morph, 5 buttons. Hunting chipmunks.
Coachwhip?! So cool, Daniel!! If that happens again, try to snap a pic!
The closest we have is a Black Racer.

We have red racers, blue racers, and coachwhips here in Nevada. I have physically been chased by a red racer....it wouldnt give up, and it was fast. Ran circles around my truck.

We had so many wacky snakes back home I won't even drive my car over one in fear that it will jump up on my suspension and crawl in after me... lmao! That's wild about the one chasing you but I totally believe it. I try to be zen with snakes but they mostly just scare the crap out of me. :D

My roomate had this big python for years... I handled it daily even though it scared me a bit. One day he was handling it and I told him it was going to bite him... lol he looks at me and says why would you think that... right then that snake bit him hard! it looked pissed!

I grew up on a farm though, lmao one time my Dad actually shot a snake in the house! We had snakes everywhere...

We had a babysitter for the first day in few months and just cleaned up around here today. I hope to get in the shop tomorrow... the knives are always fun!

Believe it or not, at one point in my life I bred and raised snakes. Mostly ballpython morphs, and some redtail boas. I just found some old pictures for you.

Pretty snakes!

I've always loved snakes. I would have some now if the wife wasn't irrationally terrified of them. She won't even walk by the tanks at a pet store. She will actually go two or three aisles over to avoid even seeing the tanks. I've always liked the various specie of garter snake, used to have a 3 band garter that was blind in one eye, had to hand feed him. Rattlers are cool, from a distance. Been up close with them more than I care to remember, the foothills here are chocked full of diamond back fatties. They may be only 5 feet long but they'll be 10+ inches in girth!

Been drinking Grandma Betty's favorite tonight, SoCo straight up. She always said she never chased a thing, including her liquor, lol! 62 years in the restaurant business will harden you for life, no doubt!

Make it great, because there is no alternative!

Todd, I'm super stoked btw, muchas gracias señor!

Good morning guys!

Hey Rolf!

XxdrpxX - those are very cool and really interesting that you bred them! I see some nice rainbow colors too...

Hi FBC!!! Do you have any more of those laminated G10/Ti Pikals going? You guys all need one!

Hi Liam! have a great Sunday!

Sloth9mm - yo! Kraken Kwaiken!

The Oak leaves are opening here and my place is a full on jungle! I have seen some massive Turkeys this year and a ton of Deer. I should sell my home as a "luxury hunting blind." :D :p I need to cover my Kale and Collard though, the deer have located my garden!

I'm trying to get back into guitar again... I learned the intro chords and lead part for Lying Eyes by The Eagles the other day. Time to bust out an amp soon!

I'll do a thread on this concrete table for my forges and foundry if it works out... so far so good! My slab has been curing for 2 days now.
