Fall Trackrock Hammerin?

Mark - is there still going to be a cutting comp? Do I need a pointy tip for mine?

Nah , let's just chop some stuff. I've got a huge rope for us to kill and the water bottles will be fun.

That was a nah as in needing a point just so yah know.

Just FYI. It looks like I will have plenty of room at the cabin as unfortunately L6steel wont be able to make it this time. So if anybodys brave enough I have room. The cabins have two bedrooms, one with a single be and the other has two beds . And a comfy couch.

Count me in MARK......Email me what I owe you......

Just FYI - Mark & crex = I won't be able to have my mark coin finished in time to mail it, so I'll bringing it with me. And one of my guys had to drop out - so it's 2 instead of 3.

No worrys mate! Just get it to me Friday night or first thing Saturday morning.
Just be discrete, we don't want to give Frank & company (family) any idea what's happening. I hope to get his dad to be there as well as their wives if possible. Family operation and Pop's the main man.

I need to have it all together before lunch time. I'll be pretty busy so I'd like to have it complete first thing on Saturday.

Sandy's going to try to get the local fish wrapper to cover the presentation (small town, so it has meaning).

Really looking forward to meeting all you "new hammerheads!", renewing old friendships, and poking the bear just a little (even though my dear old dad said never poke the Bear). You'll find I'm quite fast on my feet despite my age.

Hey CREX. If I dont get lost again I may make it for lunch.....just tell the wife. I can help out with my share of the cost ;)
See you Sat.!! :D

Time is drawing near folks. I'll be heading out either tomorrow morning or thursday morning. Havent made my mind up yet.

We will be presenting the gratitude plaque to the campground owners right before lunch on Saturday. If you want to put a token on the plaque please try to get it there to us early Saturday morning. Friday would be better but do what you can.

I sure am looking forward to seeing everyone.

Drive safe old timer. See you Sat morning. I managed to get a nice lil' sheath made so I'll be wearin a new knife ;) Hope my raspy chest doesnt set in and be too bad. Bring your vitamin C!!

My father-in-law is interested in making laminated steel blades. Will there be anybody there who will have some insight on it?

Note: laminated, not folded, or pattern welded. Just 3 bars of steel. Hard core, soft outside.

Hey Y'all,

I think that I'm going to be passing this one up :(

I'm not really feeling all that great for travelin and hangin out. Think I'm going to just stay here and hibernate.

Chuck

Damn Chuck...Looking forward to meeting you. Get ome rest. I am feeling under the weather myself but I think I can deal. Maybe I'll get Mark Sick ;)

Hey guys, I won't be there....my wife's having further complications from her previous surgery for the blood clot....just when we thought this was behind us... Hope everyone has a great time, and it doesn't get too cold there. take care.

-Darren

Oh yeah it was a very good time!

Thanks to Carl and Mark. That is one heck of an effort and the atmosphere they create there is second to none.

It was great to see Pat, Dan, Kit, Jerry H., Bigoode, John and Joan P., Carl, Mark, Sandy and the gang.

The plaque that Carl and Mark put together with the help of Sandy was flat out beautiful. It had an anvil (engraved with the "trackrock stamp" mounted on it with a minature hammer, a mini hawk and bowie too.
