Favorite Brand?

My two favorite knives at the moment are a Boker and a Viper but still by a landslide my favorite brand would be SPYDERCO!

I would say Cold Steel because they make pretty much anything you would ever need. I have the oldschool SRK "The carbon V version" That's the one I would want as my main knife.

First thought was Spyderco, amazing lineup of awesome products and selection. Folder, fixed and kitchen all covered. Sal is the man.

Then I thought Chris Reeve. I could have all kinds of different sebenzas to choose from. Large and small, old and new, fancy and plain. Ummnumzann, mnandi, ti-lock, insingo and fixed blades! Someone mentioned the impofu chopper... no one said you couldn't snag an old one off the exchange! And I do believe they make some kitchen knives.

I then remembered the Rockstead knowledge thread i was reading yesterday... a member recently visited them and took a couple shots of their lineup. I'd be ok if thats what my collection looked like! Haha $$ though.

Its kind of a crumby question to ask a knife guy, soo many options out there.

Spyderco. Only company I own more than one knife by. And I just bought another today, a domino.

Ronco, never needs sharpening and cuts through an aluminum can.
Buy 2 and get 17 free. Just for telling a friend, you get a whole 'nother set and if you call within the next 30 minutes, you get a free can of spray on hair!

Spyderco, by a mile.

Barring something extreme happening, I doubt I'll ever purchase another production knife by a different company. Customs might be a different story, but at the moment the custom knives I'm contemplating having made are merely fixed-blade versions of my favorite Spyderco folders!

If the answer is based on what brand I own the most- Victorinox.

The brand I carry the most- Kershaw

The brand I like the best- Benchmade

The brand I want to like the best- Spyderco

Spyderco! Everything else that I ever purchase just ends up being sold off. I think Sal has the foundries put an additional "powder", in the powder steels perhaps? ;)

Well, if I look at how many knives of any brand I have, Busse, Spyderco and Cold Steel equally rule the roost. I respect all three for their innovation.

So many great brands out there but my two choices are for fixed and folder:

Folder - Benchmade

Fixed blade - Busse

Far and away Chris Reeve Knives. The Sebenza. If forced to pick a second place it would be Hinderer knives, the XM-18

I would say Fällkniven. Because they have very nice slipjoints, folders and fixed blades. My favourite from them is the A1.

Nice thread & questions Nephron44

If you could only choose one brand of knife for the rest of your life, what would it be? Why? What's your favorite knife from that brand?

Mine would be Benchmade because of the vast selection of knives that serve different purposes and the outstanding customer support. My favorite knife from Benchmade 3550 with serrated black blade.

Jake Hoback.

Production - Spyderco. Hands down.

Sanrenmu.

They make $10 knives with decent steel that put established brands selling similar items at $50 to shame.
