  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Favorite Brand?

If going by sheer number, I'd have to say Rough Rider, followed by Opinel, Mora and Kershaw. But I have the highest opinion of Benchmade.

Kabar, because it also includes Becker. They have fantastic knives, both fixed blades and folders, to suit all of my needs. They take an absolute beating and keep coming back for more.

Frost Cutlery. Handle material reminiscent of a happy meal toy and recycled washing machine blade material. Sharpening- shmarpening, toss it and buy another.
For the price of a CRK lanyard, you can have 50 Frosty's.

I can narrow it down to 2.

Benchmade, since their Bushcrafter is one of my favorite fixed blades, and the Mini Grip is my favorite folder.

Kabar, since it inludes all the wonderful Becker fixed blades as well as some good folders too.

Benchmade all day long. Of the 100+ knives I've owned since discovering BladeForums the large Griptilians is the only one one that has endured. The only two EDC knives that I have right now are a 551 and 552.
