February 2022 Buck of the Month - 891, GCK Spear Point, 3V, Black G10

plb has a GREAT idea, which I might modify very slightly, as:

January was the 49th knife in the BOTM series, so I think it would only be fitting that the 50th Buck of the Month be a 50th anniversary 112. How about nickel silver bolsters, mirror polished blade, finger grooves, oak or iron wood, and of course, the 50th anniversary blade stamp and handle medallion, standard black leather sheath.

Ummm, possibly a display frame of some kind…..

You know... this knife, whatever it is, was likely built weeks if not months ago. We should be making our wish list for June and beyond.
Perhaps our great ideas could be put to a poll and see if they're listening.
Whatever Buck makes will sell out almost immediately, so let's help them plan a future knife. You know... give then plenty of time to give us what we want... ;)

Good idea.SK blades did that.
Buck has since copied those results multiple times.

The 110 and 112 have all been popular BOTM Bucks since the start and sell quickly but there's a lot of year left for more of them. I'm actually hoping for something unexpected and unusual. But if we get a drop point 112 in S45VN..

What I don't have and really want is a 116 Caper but I guess that's out of the question since they don't make them any more.

I got a Limited Edition 116 in November of 2019, so you never know. (It was a different blade shape than the older ones.)

I'd be in for a Caper BOTM knife.

My disappointment that this month is not a 112 is tempering my decision to purchase the GCK.

3V steel - is a great choice for this knife. Collectability - as the regular production knife is discontinued.
valuable points there. so far was 477 left....not moving super fast yet anyways.

I’d have never thunk it 🤔 looks like a good set up with 3v and g10 tho. I’m gonna pass as I have plenty fixed blades and not much room left.
Glad for the fellas that like the GCK knives, I know jb will 😆
