Ffg bk17 passaround! UPDATE!! New knife made to continue passaround!

Over on the Snark thread someone just posted he's in a beer/poon stupor. Certainly not fair to everyone else who wants to check out this knife.
 
OK! Since the original passaround knife has disappeared into the Thrillbilly black hole, and who knows when, if ever, it will be back in circulation, I figured it was time to do something about it. Yesterday CrimsonFalcon07 offered to re-make a contest knife for someone who had never gotten their knife after it went down the same hole. I was so impressed with his offer, I thought I could do something similar.
So I dug out another BK16, stripped, polished, and ground it down to yet another FFG BK17 (this one is the Mk4) and will be continuing the passaround. So here is the new version:

The Mk4 has the crazy curved jimping section, besides the obvious modifications:

SO! Next on the list is JWL. Still interested??? Now I just have to dig out the paper folder I had with everyone's shipping addresses printed out.

Dang K9, all that in one day? Glad to see this is still happening. I expect good reviews and great pics, everyone! We owe it to K9 for putting another one out there.
 
This is really cool K-9.

I know a lot of people are pissed off, and I'm glad I haven't really been involved with the whole Thrillbilly thing... He was a very active user and seemed like a real stand-up dude... I'm rather concerned that something might have happened to him...

I assume whoever had sent him stuff has his real name and address... has anyone checked things likelocal obituaries? :(
 
Good on you to make another one that's even better then the first! Shit happens yet life goes on. This is life going on I guess ;) Love that jimping job. Very curious how it feels in the hand.
 
Cheers man. I really appreciate that you are not letting one person being irresponsible with their end of a pass around ruin it for everyone, I expect the folks who are lucky enough to be in on this will meet their mailing dates promptly this time :)
 
Impressive work on that knife and a real standup thing to do hopefully the things CrimsonFalcon07 and K9-Handler are doing will resonate
 
That is an AWESOME blade there, K9. Very nice work. Makes me tempted to pick up a 17 to FFG and rehandle. Still want a 5 and 15 too... Sheesh.

It looks like I may get it around the fall gathering at Ethan's. That would be awesome and I could share it with everybody there. It is a beauty for sure!
