Need some smoke guys. My 14 year old min pin Rocco, winner of the "I keeeel you award" is in pretty bad shape. He was fine yesterday, but had real bad shakes and vomiting today. He's week and in a lot of pain. I cried my eyes out thinking this was the last trip to the vet we'd ever share together. The Drs did blood work and we'll find out what the real problem is tomorrow.

Do Rocco and I a favor- If you have a dog, take him for a long walk and tell him he/she is a good boy or girl the whole way. When you get home, give him a treat and tell them they're a good dog. Love them, you just never know...

Thoughts are with you and Rocco. He looks like a good boy. My folks have a mini pin and despite an ear-piercing bark he's the most loving puppy around.

I am praying for Rocco and you. I hope that you find out that he just ate something that didn't agree with his stomach. My dog Jessie eats bitter grass and/or weeds to make her self throw up when something is bothering her stomach.

I noticed that Rocco has the "tuxedo" colors going on with the brown and white highlights in his face and paws. Is he what influenced your favorite handle set-up?

Duder, hope Rocco heals up quick. I need him to scare the crap out of me again with his "I keeeel you" look.
 
Man, thanks for all the comments a PMs guys. This is truly a great sub forum that attracts good people. Yesterday was very tough on my family, Rocco and I. Yesterday was the first time I've gone to bed at 8pm in decades. Your comments mean more to me than I can put into words.

Update:
The vet says Rocco may be experiencing pancreatitis. I think he may have eating some scraps that my 4 or 5 year old may have given him?:confused: We have more blood work to do and hopefully a short two day stay at the vet hospital and it looks like he'll pull through.
