Fiddleback Fourlegged Friends

RobKevlar, how much for your Boston?:D JK.

That's a nice looking trifecta you have.

The Boston was $50 bucks outside of Walmart one night. She was my Brother's pup but she moved in with us a few years ago because of his work schedule. She was alone all the time.

Sorry for your loss brother. She's in a much better place.

Smoke sent from California.

Hang in there buddy.

Thoughts & Prayers McVeyMac....time will help the healing but for now its important to embrace the love you had & gave to Lucy Lu.

McVeyMac, I'm sad to hear this news. So sorry for your loss.

Mac just read this thread I am so sorry to hear about Lucy Lu. I pray for peace and comfort for you and your family.

Condolences on the loss of Lucy. Fine looking dog.

We lost our beloved Beagle Odie early this year. Really didn't see a replacement in her future and really no dog ever replaces another, they just help fill a void.
We had a couple Border Terrier pups abandoned and brought to the department here. I made the mistake of looking at them and ended up with our void filler. I took one and a Detective Sgt took the sister, both girls.

She's cute as heck and sharp little biting puppy teeth but I think she's gonna be a good dog.

I give you Daisy.

With my daughter and first granddaughter on board.

And a little diva, she won't let ya out of her sight, so you can't do anything you can't do with a helper. So just like a new baby you cherish moments like this and try to get something done while you have the chance.

All, I was going to thank each of you individually for the well wishes, but I have a meeting in 30 min. Hence no time now. But know that each of your kind replies are very much appreciated. But I must say Bawanna, Daisy looks like a fine dog. I am glad that she and her sister have found loving homes. I will warn you that Terriers are not at all like Beagles. They are as feisty and stubborn as can be. But, they are great dogs.

Great. Now I got two wife's. Training failed on the two legged one, I'm her slave but I'm not giving up on the puppy. Probably be her slave too.

Just saw your sig line. I'm a huge Hathcock fan. He was my hero.

McVeyMac, I am so sorry to hear about your pup. I lost one in 2010 after 13 years of having him by my side and still remember the feeling of that day. It is the worst. Hang in there, best wishes to you and your family.

Mac, my condolences. I hope in this hard time that you take some comfort in the fact that ((I'm pretty certain)) you gave that quadruped a caring & warm home life. I feel for you.

Bawanna, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Hathcock YEARS ago at one of our gun clubs sponsored shows, I felt quite honored to sit down and shoot the breeze for a few minutes.

I'll tell you something else pretty amazing, many years ago the gun club I belong to "Norva" sponsored a trip for Mikhail Kalashnikov to come to the United States. Among other trips, he visited our gun club in Strasburg Virginia and met with Eugene Stoner. I was unable to attend this club event but there are pictures hanging in the gun lodge of these two men shaking hands and shooting each others weapons. Very neat! Whenever I get the chance to ride up there, I'll take a couple pictures and post them.

McVeyMac,

I am very sorry to hear about Lucy Lu. We all dread the day when our best friends leave us. You will still have a lifetime of good memories after the mourning is over.

Best regards,

Phil

MVM, condolences from me, Charlie and Lola Lou to you and your family.

Bawanna, congrats on the new pup and the upcoming grandbaby.

Kris

I am sorry for your loss and share your pain. I had to have our 14 year old beagle "Molly" put down today. Broken hearts here too.

Walt,
I am very sorry for your loss; my heart truly goes out to you and your family in this time of suffering. Hang in there and know it will get better -- try to savor all of the great memories that I am sure you have from your life with Lucy; you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

When it rains, it pours... as it is doing today. My 7.5 y/o male boxer was diagnosed with multicentric lymphoma last week and was given 1-2mo to live. We have decided to hang in and fight alongside my furry little buddy and have begun the CHOP protocol (multi-agent chemo) to try and abate / put the cancer into some form of remission...I probably will be taking some time off of the forum to focus on him (and other life events) in the near term.

As with everything else in life, all good things must ultimately come to an end.

/R

Will

Mac, I am sorry for your loss, which I know is deep. My prayers are with you.

ISP, peace to you and yours, too.

Will, that sucks. No other way to put it. Take care if your family. And know we are with you in spirit.

Michael
