Fiddleback Fourlegged Friends

LOL .. nah .. For liability reasons, I dont train civilians. I only train LE, and any K9 LEO can come to me for training and it's free.
I trained one from selection to finished for a County S/O last year. A minimum of $7500 worth of training for $0.
They didnt even send me a thank you note. :(

Civilians train on their own....

Well guys, I just received a rough phone call from back home. Just lost one of my own. Dachshund at the young age of 8. I'm at such a loss we still have a 12 year old and he's doing great. What's worse is I left this guy with my sister when I left for college; a so you won't miss me as much when I'm gone token. Still in my life when I returned but left him in her care. She's a mess. It's rough to deal with. Freak accidents, he was rough housing w our bulldogs and got his spine crushed and paralyzed. We thought he'd be better but it took a bad turn when he was playing again. Hold your animal kids close friends. It's been a rough few weeks going for our Fiddleback Fourlegged Friends.

Sorry to hear of your loss Dave. Keep all those memories sacred. Doxies are definitely a cool breed !

Sorry to hear about your loss . We had toy miniature Dachshunds when I was a kid, beautiful and fiercely loyal dogs.
Take care mate.

Geez, Dave. So sorry for your loss. I've always been a big dog person, but I've got a soft spot for dachshunds. Great dogs. Peace to you and your family.

Dave,
I'm truly sorry for your loss my friend. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave,

I too am very sorry to hear about losing your little buddy. My first dog growing up was a Dachshund. He might have been small, but in his mind he was eight feet tall and the baddest guard dog around. I still have a couple of scars from rough housing with him when he put the chomp on me. Time heals all losses and wounds, but the memories and scars last a life time.

Phil

And imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

No imitation or flattery served here. Only purpose trained working dogs. I've trained with LE and seen knock-offs around. You can all it what you will...remember what assumptions get you.

Spoken like a true civilian who doesnt realize his sporting dogs are emulations of Law Enforcement. The two should NOT be muddled. Have fun with your decoys hiding in blinds and equipment fixation.

I know exactly what you are speaking if and yes there are a ton of "sporting" dogs trained to fixate on equipment. 99.9% of those animals will fold to the stresses of true engagements. And yes I did title my dog in sport, but the distinction comes with PPD and real world and live scenario training. Like I mentioned have have trained working dogs with LE staff as well as sporting dogs and know the difference. I only commented to point out these dogs exist outside of military or LE. Not trying to stir any pots.

Not real sure why you were so quick to spout off the smart ass comments and "roll-eyes."

Just don't assume you know what you see from a couple of pics...

Man, that sucks. Stay up Dave.

Thanks all for the well wishes. It's a good feeling to have some support from a little bit of everywhere. You guys are all great

I found out at the vet last week that Boudreaux has cancer. Its an agressive cancer in his blood vessels. The vet says 2 months. He is by far the best dog I've trained. He's 6 now. That wasn't enough time with him. We haven't told the kids yet. They got back from camp Saturday.
